Love it

I was so excited to try blue lizard mineral sunscreen when I received it as a gift to review. I loved this sunscreen, especially for my young kids. We spend a lot of time outside and this sunscreen went on so nicely (unlike others that leave them ghostly). My kids have sensitive skin and had no issues with this. I also like how it’s made with zinc oxide. Would 100% recommend.

Great protection!

Super easy to apply. Great coverage and sun protection. I usually have allergies and this product was very gentle to my skin. I would certainly buy this product and recommend it to family and friends.

A mineral sunscreen that I safe and works

I like it that it is mineral so it is safe. The white cast is not a problem for me after a few rubs I think some people think it will disappear when you just apply it on but any cream takes a few rubs

BLUE LIZARD AUSTRALIAN SUNSCREEN

This is a solid mineral sunscreen for body use, especially if you’re looking for high protection with a soothing feel. I personally can’t use it on my face—it’s too thick and tends to sit heavily on the skin, making it uncomfortable under makeup or skincare.

However, it’s excellent for the body, particularly on the neck, chest, and shoulders, where I want ultra protection. The formula contains aloe, which feels calming and helps prevent any irritation, even on sun-exposed or slightly sensitive skin. It’s also water resistant for up to 80 minutes, which is perfect for outdoor activities or beach days.

If you’re after a reliable, soothing, mineral sunscreen for the body, this one checks all the boxes—just not ideal for the face.

Lightweight mineral protection that actually works

I’ve been using the Blue Lizard Mineral Sunscreen Sensitive SPF 50 for a couple of weeks now, and honestly, it’s become a staple in my routine—especially on sunny park days or when I’m out on the water. I really appreciate how gentle it is on my skin; I have super sensitive skin that reacts to everything, but this one hasn’t caused any irritation at all.
What I like most is how quickly it dries down. At first, it leaves a bit of a white cast (like most mineral sunscreens), but once I rub it in and let it sit for a few minutes, it blends in way better. It doesn’t feel greasy or heavy either—just a nice, light layer of protection that I can forget about.
And the color-changing cap is actually so helpful! It turns blue in the sun, so it’s a good reminder to reapply. I’ve been using it on my face and arms mostly, and I haven’t had any sunburns, even after long outdoor days.
Plus, knowing it’s great for all skin types and free of Oxybenzone and Octinoxate makes me feel good about using it. Definitely a product I’ll keep in my beach bag all summer.

Great for my sensitive skin

Blue Lizard sunscreen has been great this summer for my family. This is the Blue Lizard Sensitive Mineral Sunscreen with SPF 50 and it’s been great for their little arms and legs. I’ve been using it for mine as well.
It contains aloe that is moisturizing and soothing for skin. It is Hypoallergenic, water resistant for up to 80mins, leaves no white cast (dries clear), and it has a colour change cap that becomes darker blue in UV light. My kids loved that.
Blue Lizard sensitive mineral sunscreen is a clean, vegan product which means NO fragrances, parabens or phthalates.
So we can enjoy our summer with a gentle but effective sunscreen!

Highly Recommended

This sunscreen has a mineral-based formula with zinc oxide as its active ingredient, which provides broad-spectrum protection against both UVA and UVB rays. Unlike chemical sunscreens, this one forms a physical barrier on the skin's surface, which is especially beneficial for those with sensitive skin. It absorbed very fast, formed a layer of sheer coat for sun protection. I saw it also sold in Shoppers, where I go very often for skin care shopping. Would highly recommend this product with its affordable price!!

Strong Sunblock for Sensitive Skin

I use Blue Lizard sunscreen every time I go out, and it’s become a staple for my whole family. We rely on it for daily sun protection, applying it to all exposed skin. The sunscreen performs excellently in terms of sun protection. None of us have experienced sunburns since switching to Blue Lizard, even during long days outside. It’s also water-resistant for up to 80 minutes, which is great for swimming or sports. In terms of application, the sunscreen initially feels thick and does not blend in immediately upon first application. It requires some massaging or rubbing in to fully absorb and to minimize the initial white cast that mineral sunscreens often leave. After thorough blending, the white cast mostly disappears and the product settles into a more natural finish.

Great for summer

The Blue Lizard Sensitive Sunscreen SPF50 is great for adults and kids. It goes on thick and white but absorbs well and protects from the sun without irritating. The previous blue lizard formula was irritating to my daughter’s skin in the past but this one for sensitive skin hasn’t given a rash. Would recommend and buy!
