Great Sunscreen for All My Outdoor Activities

Blue Lizard Sensitive Mineral SPF 50 is perfect for protecting the exposed parts of my skin during all kinds of outdoor activities I do whether it’s walking, hiking, or spending time at the park. I cover up a lot, so I need strong protection for what’s left exposed, and this sunscreen delivers. It blends in easily, feels non-greasy, has no fragrance, and doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin. The best mineral sunscreen

I’m so impressed with this sunscreen! It’s gentle on my sensitive skin, doesn’t leave a heavy residue, and gives amazing protection—blocking 98% of UVB rays without any harsh chemicals or fragrances. I also love that it’s reef-safe and the Smart Cap changes color in UV light as a reminder to reapply. A must-have for sunny days!

Blue Lizard Equals 'Fun in the Sun'

I recently received a free sample from Butterly of 'Blue Lizard Australian Mineral Sunscreen SPF 50' for sensitive skin for my personal review.

The composition of this 100% mineral sunscreen includes no harsh chemicals, including perfumes or parabens. Rather, the active ingredients of Zinc Oxide and Titanium Dioxide immediately help to deflect harmful solar rays upon contact with the skin. And as a plus, be it from enjoying water sports or simply by sweating, these ingredients also help the sunscreen from melting away. Unless towel drying, Blue Lizard Australian Sunscreen recommends re-application after approximately 2 hours, which is a fair amount of time.

In addition to these benefits, Blue Lizard Australian Sunscreen is personally a real plus for me, as my sensitive skin reacts harshly to products that are heavily laden with chemicals. But after having tested it before and after several activities, I can honestly say that going outdoor has felt great again! I never experienced any irritation, including itching, swelling or burning. And the fact in which Blue Lizard Australian Sunscreen is 98% protective from UVB rays makes it that much more re-assuring.

I was also impressed by the fact in which it has a wonderful base, which is neither too thick nor watered down. With a soothing organic aloe base, this silky sunscreen feels so good as it is applied to the skin. And once it is properly absorbed, I found that it did not leave any tacky feel. Therefore, I personally had no worries of it ruining and/or staining clothing or my beach tow20els.

And as a bonus, Blue Lizard Australian Sunscreen is not composed of Oxybenzone, nor Octinoxate, both of which can damage the environment. Having studied and worked in marine biology for several years, I know how dangerous these chemicals have been, and continue to be, to our ocean’s fragile reef ecosystem. Many have been shown to bleach and kill coral and other forms of marine life. So, water lovers can feel good that we are doing our part, all the while enjoying the outdoors!

All this to say, I would not hesitate to recommend Blue Lizard Australian Sunscreen. With all of its advantages, I plan on continuing to use it. So, two thumbs up! Now, time for a bit more fun in the sun.

This sunscreen is fabulous. It goes on super easy and does not leave me feeling super greasy or heavy. I love that it has no scent. i find a lot of products try to smell like coconut. This will become my go to sunscreen now.

Great Sunscreen!

This is a 100% mineral sunscreen that provides UVA/UVB protection with broad spectrum SPF 50. It is also water resistant. When I was applying it to my skin, it went on smoothly without leaving a white residue or sticky feeling. This is great for sensitive skin. I also like that it is reef-safe.

Great sunscreen

So far I absolutely love this blue lizard sunscreen. I was looking for something a bit safer but still affective for my pregnant self and two littles and this has been working great! Its very creamy not gitty at all, easily rubs into the skin and has been awesome in preventing sunburns even after swimming and playing out in the dirt as boys do. Highly recommend.

Nice addition with aloe but leaves a white cast

I like that this sunscreen has added organic aloe. I am allergic to the sun so regardless of how much sunscreen I put on, I usually get a little burnt/ some hives, which aloe helps immensely with. This does leave a little white/blue cast though, so for that reason it is a 4 star for me as a brown woman.

Great sunscreen

I received this Blue Lizard Sensitive Mineral Sunscreen to try for free from @thisisbutterly in exchange for my honest option. I used this sunscreen on my face before starting my day and have been pleased with the results.
It goes on thick and white, but after rubbing it in, it is colourless. It is unscented and not sticky. It does leave a bit of a shine on your skin at first but after a minute or so it's gone. I love how it's SPF 50 too. Great product to protect you from the sun.

First Mineral Sunscreen Experience ! Wow!

I had never used a mineral sunscreen before, and I've gotta say this one is fantastic ! It goes on clear, and has a nice dry finish no shine. I have a pretty oily T-Zone in the summer so it's prone to burning. This stuff is great and offers the protection I need. No chemical sunscreen smell. It's also got a super cool UV color change cap 😎.

Summer Essentials

It was a beautiful Sunny day and a good opportunity to try out the new and improved Bluelizardsunscreen Sensitive Mineral SPF 50 Sunscreen Lotion which is a nice summer essential!

It is fragrance-free, water resistant and intended for all skin types especially sensitive skin. I love the smart cap technology that allows the transparent cap to change to blue when exposed to UV light which serves as a reminder to apply your sunscreen to stay protected.

The texture feels smooth, mid weight texture with a slight runny texture. It goes on smoothly, tried blending it in but still leaves a slight cast on my skin tone
