I'm loving this mineral sunscreen. It's formulated with zinc oxide and titanium dioxide so you can feel good about the ingredients you're putting on your skin. I also love that this brand helps to protect our fragile reef ecosystems.

Mineral suncreens are great option for sensitive skins, those that get irritated by chemical formulations. This Blue Lizard sensitive SPF 50 not only provides broad-spectrum protection, it also helps soothe skin thanks to Aloe Vera in the formulation. The texture is creamy, not greasy, absorbs really well and NO white ghost look.! The scent is mild, and it is water resistant. My new go to sunscreen! Great all around!

Mineral sunscreen makes me feel much better about putting it on my child’s skin. It does a better job for instant protection & less chemicals. This one does good coverage & was fragrance free. It’s also reef safe, I feel great using it all around! It is a little sticky and some white cast, but that’s fine with me in order to have a safe product.

Very moisturizing sunscreen

The Blue Lizard Mineral Sunscreen Sensitive SPF50 is a creamy physical sunscreen. It has a slightly thicker texture but spreads easily. Once applied, it becomes clear with a dewy finish. It leaves no white cast or pilling. Applying a large amount at once may require a bit more patience. I usually spread it evenly and pat it into my skin. This is a perfect body sunscreen for all skin types. It is slightly moisturizing. When used as a face sunscreen, it suits people with normal to dry skin. It has a faint scent, but it fades quickly. This sunscreen is water-resistant for up to 80 minutes. I plan to use this sunscreen on my body for my upcoming summer outdoor activities.

I’ve been using the Blue Lizard SPF 50 sunscreen for a few weeks now, and I can honestly say it’s one of the best SPFs I’ve tried for sensitive skin.

It doesn’t cause any irritation, even when my skin feels reactive.
It applies easily, has a smooth texture, and doesn’t leave a white cast like many mineral sunscreens do.
Bonus — it hydrates the skin thanks to the aloe in the formula.
Works beautifully under makeup — no pilling or greasy finish.

And most importantly, it offers high UVA/UVB protection and is water-resistant.
It’s definitely a must-have in my daily morning routine, especially during summer.

Great Natural Sunscreen

I received this product for free to give an honest review: my kids like this sunscreen and that is a hard thing to find! It’s not too thick like some mineral sunscreens and it’s nice to know there is aloe and 80 min water protection. I will definitely buy in the future.

This mineral sunscreen gets the job done with zero frills. The thick zinc oxide formula requires serious blending—about a full minute of rubbing—to avoid streaks, but once absorbed, it stays put through sweat and water without stinging. The white cast is noticeable at first but fades considerably after absorption. While not completely matte, the finish is less greasy than most mineral options. If you are looking for a Mineral Sunscreen for Sensitive skin that is good for the whole family, Blue Lizard Australian Sunscreen has a great options.
While the brand has a range of textures and application methods available, I received the lotion to try!
I did appreciate the fact that even though it is a Mineral Sunscreen-with the notorious white cast- the product does in fact dry clear after application. For myself that would be one of the largest bonus factors. Other features would be the higher SPF of 50 and the 80 minute waterproof claim. SPF is very important to me and I apply it everyday. With sunny days in the forecast, it's comforting to have a good sun protection at hand.
