The formula feels like a hybrid between a butter and a balm that glides easily onto lips and wears nicely for around four hours on me without migrating or feathering. If you’re sensitive to fragrance or flavor you’ll be happy to know they have neither. I’ve always been terribly confused why they are dubbed sheer because honestly they have excellent pigmentation! A single swipe provides fairly opaque color with slight shine.

Bobbi Brown Sheer Lip Color is a lightweight, balmy full color lipstick that have excellent pigmentation and are formulated with shea and murumuru. They not only give lips a burst of juicy color but also have a nice hydrating, skin softening formula through the wear! The texture ensures you’ll get a nice, easy, smooth glide across lips and they lack flavor or fragrance for the senstive users out there. They wear really well at around four to five hours and they have no issues with migrating while color remains quite vibrant through that wear time.

This is my first BB lipstick. I purchased the shade Washed Seashell which is a shimmery medium pink that doesn't stand out too much. I really wanted to like the lipstick, but I just couldn't get over the slightly waxy/sticky feeling, almost like a lipgloss. I think it helps with the lasting power, but I'd rather reapply lipstick than have that feeling on my lips. It also has a slightly plastic smell which I don't really like.
The lipstick isn't as smooth as I thought, so after applying it, I know the sides of the product has been rubbing against the tube which annoys me so much..makes me think that the lipstick is going to break off easily.
