They were okay

These turkey franks were okay. They weren't my favorite. I don't think I would purchase them. I am glad I tried them though. The flavor wasn't my favorite, I think I prefer regular hot dogs. The idea is great though. The packaging is interesting to look at and the package is sealed well.

Less Fat, but Saltier

I was sent two Butterball product coupons in exchange for my honest review. One voucher was for a FREE 450 g pack of Butterball Traditional Turkey Franks. The other voucher was for a FREE 300 g pack of Butterball Applewood Smoked Turkey Bacon. I redeemed both of these product coupons at Walmart. 

Regular Hot Dogs and Hamburgers are often on the BBQ when my family is grilling. I do like to mix it up, and present poultry as a healthier alternative to pork and beef. My Husband and Son had no complaints trying these Butterball Traditional Turkey Franks. We agree that the texture was like a regular hot dog, and these Turkey Franks were quite juicy. I like how they are a good source of protein, and made from 100% turkey meat. This product may be lower in fat, but we found it tastes saltier than most regular hot dogs, which are salty enough. Compare the sodium. Consider the nutritional trade off(s). These Turkey Franks are Gluten-Free and Lactose-Free. I would recommend trying Butterball Turkey Franks if you are looking for a lower-fat alternative to regular hot dogs.

Great substitute for those who don’t eat pork

These butterball turkey franks are a great option for those who avoid gluten or can’t eat pork. They contain less fat as well which is a nice plus. They bbq up nicely and are great easy meal option in teh summer!
