Faux ho ho! It's our first artificial tree

We've only ever had real trees but when the prices started to go through the roof a few years ago (like double what we've always paid, with some places charging triple) we started to think maybe it was time to try an artificial one, a tree that would last for years and save us a bundle over time. So I was thriled (thrilled!) when Canadian Tire sent me this one to try.

Assembly: Much easier than I expected. It's literally three pieces plus the stand (lights and all!) and took 20 minutes to unbox and put together on my own. Pulling the inner branches apart and fluffing them up a bit is what takes the most time but really, maybe 10 minutes and you're done. The pieces are clearly labelled with numbers and arrows and the instructions are straightforward.

Appearance: Underwhelming at first, but it grew on me (pun intended). There's no mistaking it for a real tree in the light of day, but evening and nighttime with all the lights it's a vibe. Really beautiful. Some prefer a dense tree but l really like this more airy style. It's not sparse by any means, but somewhere in between. White lights are my favourite (650 of them!) and these ones are so pretty. I'm not a fan of the clear blink and clear fade settings but I really like the combination, clear steady and clear twinkle. (That last one is magical.) Super easy to change and power with the remote.

Size: We've got 8' ceilings in the kitchen/dining room so a 7' tree is perfect there. Makes the space all festive and cozy for meals, crafting, homework etc. And feels like such a luxury! I'm all for a tree in the kitchen/dining room if the space and budget allows.

We'll be getting a taller, real tree for the living room closer to Christmas and see how the two compare. For sure an artificial tree isn't the same, but they do have it all over real trees for convenience, longevity and (if it's a good one) bang for your buck.

Beautiful and super easy to set up!

This tree took me five minutes to set up. It was incredibly easy right out of the box. Once I fluffed up the branches, it came together and looked amazing. I love the warm lights and the option to have them twinkle. Very happy with our new tree.

The best artificial Christmas tree

All my life we used to buy real trees, but this year we wanted to try something different.
Oh shoot — this is fantastic! The quality is amazing, the size is perfect for a small space (a living room in a flat), and the setup took literally 2 minutes! Okay… maybe plus 5 more to fluff all the branches. But honestly, this is incredible. Thank you so much!

BEAUTIFUL Christmas tree

I can’t get over how beautiful this tree is first of all how it feels so real it’s so full and this might be silly, but I love how it comes with a remote so I don’t have to go behind the tree to unplug and plug it every night plus on the little remote there’s so many different options for the light. It’s so cute. I’m honestly so impressed with the quality and I could not recommend this even more !!

No shedding, easy set up, beautiful quality

I really like this pre-lit unswept Christmas tree! The set up was extremely easy, it comes in 3 separate pieces (plus the base) with the lights already installed. It takes some time to fluff it and separate the branches but is definitely worth the time. My biggest pro when setting it up was that there was NO SHED! I have never had that before when setting up a fake Christmas tree, there is typically green pieces everywhere, not with this one! The size is great and the colour of the green and the lights compliments each other really well. The remote is super handy but it also has a foot button you can click to turn it on and off as well. I like the twinkling feature and the standard lights best. I do think it is a little pricey and would definitely recommend getting it on sale, but it feels like the type of quality that will last and you will probably have it forever.
