I wasn’t ready to but the Laura Mercier $39 powder and opted for the Coverfx powder. Ulta has their 21 days of beauty sale and the powder was around $18-$20. There is a lid stiffer to keep the powder from getting messy. I give it a 4/5 because the powder makes my foundation darker. Overall my oil is control and my makeup stays in place all day.

Great powder

One of my favorites. I love the color range and the way this powder sits on my skin. It doesn’t look cakey and it helps set my makeup and I use it as a touch up powder throughout the day if I need to. Great price and it lasts a while you don’t need a bunch to handle business. No crazy flashback and works with every foundation I have so far.

Cover Fx, translucent light, Perfect Setting Powder

Great product! I love Cover Fx, for the price it works well and is worth every penny. This setting powder has a very light application which is build-able to a full coverage. I typically don't use liquid foundation on my skin, since it is very sensitive. My regular routine for a full face of makeup includes a moisturizing facial toner followed by a lightweight blemish control primer, and finished with this setting powder.

I have tried a few other brands from Sephora to compare this one to, one of which being Laura Mercier's translucent loose setting powder, which is claimed to be "lightweight", but I definitely felt like it was more cake-y on my skin than Cover Fx.

Needless to say, until I meet a product better than this one, I will continue purchasing this!

I absolutely love this brand. This is cruelty free and a great working product. I've tried a lot of their products And yet to be disappointed. I will definitely buy it again.

I would have to say this is my first setting powder I’ve ever purchased and I really like it compared to the banana powder that gives the yellowish skin. this is really good for fair skin women I do you like it I got the deep translucent setting powder and I feel it is really nice for dark skin complexion’s or brown skin

Keeps things in place and the shine out.

I have been using this Cover FX loose powder for close to a year now. It sets my makeup and gives my skin a nice even look and texture without looking like I'm wearing powder. I rarely need to touch it up and I have a combination skin tone with extra oily patches here and there. I rarely leave home without it.

Best Loose Setting Powder

I originally got this powder from a dermatologist in Vancouver years ago. I bought it as a set of makeup to cover extremely large scars on my legs. It lasted through my phase of wanting to hide my scars, into my makeup loving phase. I use it on my face now, and love it. I use it for baking my makeup- and for an all over setting powder. It doesn’t cake and look heavy- and blends softly over my face and neck. It is a bit pricey- but worth the investment. It has lasted me years, mind you I do not wear heavy foundation and powder everyday.

I use it after applying my foundation and it locks my makeup in all day long.
it gives me a flawless finish and a great base for bronzer.

Love it!

I am on my second one of these. It lasts a long time but I use it every single day to set my under eye and face makeup. It works great and keeps me set all day long and I don't have to touch up with powder at all throughout the day. Also I love that it is talc free, a lot of setting powders have talc and I would much rather not use talc if I don't have to.

Baked my under eye concealer perfectly!

I recently ordered mine from sephora last week and I have been using it a few times. I have a very oily skin and so it's very hard to find products that wont make me even oilier or make my makeup separate. At first I only used this powder to set my under eye concealer just to see how it performs. I have always struggled with my concealer setting in on my crease and so when I used this powder I saw a huge difference. The areas that I get very oily at such as my t-zone was oily because I didn't put this powder on, but on the areas that I did put it on, it was flawlessly matte and not oily at all. I am so impressed, and it didn't have a bad flashback either. I think it's because it's talc free. I highly recommend this product!
