I was really disappointed with it and I usually love Covergirl mascara. It didn't lengthen or define my lashes.

I was disappointed with this mascara. It didn't add length to my lashes and I don't have the patience to put on layers of it. I definitely will not be buying this again.

I had been wanting to try this product since I had seen the advertising and finally got the chance this week. I bought the Very Black Water Resistant. For all the hype about it in ads, I was very disappointed with the product. Like others reviewers have said, it doesn't do much for the fullness of the lash, although I know it is marketed for length. I didn't find it really did that either. I found I had to do quite a few coats to get the desired results and even then it wasn't great. Not for me but good for people with naturally thick or long eyelashes that just want to add a little extra to their look.

I have short thin lashes and am into more of a dramatic look to help play up my eyes and make them more noticable. I was hoping this mascara would help with that by lengthining my lashes. I was quite disappointed. It did not do the job for me. The brush is a bit too big for the lower lashes but does do a pretty good job reaching most of the top lashes. It was just too natural for me and did not define and add much length to my lashes at all. If you are looking for a more natural look or have long lashes, I think this mascara is more meant for you. I still use it on those days I feel like not wearing much make-up and look more for the natural look.

Although Drew looks amazzzzzzing and her lashes miles long, I was very disappointed in the new extra long brush lash blast in the bright yellow tube! The wand is a bit too long, there is no shape/angle to the brush and the mascara itself is quite thin. I was very disappointed and much prefer my other mascaras! Great marketing but not such a great product !

The mascara was ok personally to me. It does gives you a little length but it doesn't make you look fabulous with them. It doesn't make your eye lashes look like it has any volume at all. I'd recommend it to someone who wears barely any make up but still wants to look polished.

I really like this mascara for everyday use, as it has a very natural look when you put it on. I would not however use this mascara if I wanted a more dramatic look because it seems like you cannot reach much volume with it, even if you put 3 layers of it on.
So, although i hit the 'recommend' button for this mascara-- it should be noted that I would only recommend this mascara fora completely NATURAL look. I do not believe however that it adds any length to my lashes, but I definitely like wearing it because it just makes my own lashes stand out a little more than usual.

I got this mascara for the product review club, and I have to say I was quite disappointed. I was expecting a little bit more, especially since it's CoverGirl. It really didn't add much length to my lashes, and I've had more success using a primer and then a normal mascara on top of it. The one thing I did like was the brush, it nicely separates your lashes and prevents clumps.

I'm always happy to try new products, but this wasn't one I was too excited about to begin with. Most mascaras don't look good on me, but this one had it's promises so I gave it a try through the product review club.

Everyone's talking about a smell, and personally I can't smell it. I'm not going out of my way to do so though. haha.

Anyway, I found that yeah, it did make my lashes longer, but it didn't make them stand out. What part of this mascara is "LashBlast"?

it does it's job for length, it doesnt clump etc, but I would prefer something that actually stands out.

I tried this product as a part of the product review club.
One thing I immediately liked about this mascara was that it was in nice packaging. I love brightcolors so when I see a mascara on the shelf in a color such as yellow it will draw in my attention right away.
When I put on this mascara for hte first time the first thing I noticed was the smell. It bothered me a little bit because when I go out to buy a mascara I always look for something that has NO SCENT. However, once the mascara was applied, I couldn't smell it anymore.

This mascara didn't really do anything too amazing that really wowed me. It didn't seem to lengthen my lashes as well as the current mascara I used does so I was a bit disappointed. I suppose it would be a nice mascara for someone who is just looking for a casual/everyday look but I prefer a more dramatic look when it comes to my lashes. This product really didn't deliver when it came to the extreme length that they advertised.

On the bright side, I didn't notice any major flaking and the mascara seemed to hold up well throughout most of my regular day and that was probably the best thing about the mascara that I could really say. However, that really isn't enough to make me want to purchase it again.

Overall, I don't think I would recommend this mascara particularly until some improvements have been made to it (such as the scent) but it is still an alright mascara if someone is looking for a subtle and natural look and isn't bothered by the scent.
