First, I also ADORE the smell of this product! My partner even commented on how good my hair smelled after using it. Even though this is a gel, I found the product to be very lightweight. Didn't make my hair feel crunchy or stiff at all. You can apply this to damp or dry hair - I applied to dry hair after letting my hair air dry and "scrunched" it in. I like how the product felt when I worked it in my hair. I'm thinking I should maybe have applied when my hair was still damp though. I have wavy hair - I'm also not an expert at my hair so I haven't mastered the process of giving my hair perfect beach waves yet. The product certainly helped but it didn't create perfect waves for me. I would continue using this product and would recommend this product to a friend.
