Good for paint projects!

I got this product for free in exchange for my honest review. This caulk is easy to apply and has a smooth consistency that makes it simple to work with. After it dried, I was impressed by how flexible and durable it felt. It also adhered very well to both wood and metal surfaces, creating a solid waterproof seal that I’m confident will hold up over time. I love that it’s paintable – after it cured, I applied my paint over it with no issues, and the color matched perfectly. It adhered well to both wood trim and drywall, and the flexible finish means it should resist cracking and shrinking, keeping my paint job looking great for the long term. Less odor

Wall is having cracks in between tiles. Luckily, I received a free bottle of Silicone from Butterly. The texture is smooth. Much less smell than other products I had used before. And also quite easy to wipe excessive material off. The only complaint is there is no cap to cover for next day use.

Works great

I received this product for free from @dapcanada in exchange for an honest review. This works really well and it was easy to apply. If you squeeze to hard and can come out fast so you need to find a groove. It dried quickly and worked excellent. So far it’s held up

Easy Clean Up!

I received a free tube of this product from Butterly. Having never caulked anything before, this was an introduction to caulking for yours truly! My first impression was negative the caulking gun that I'd intended to use turned out to be broken, and thus delayed my use of the caulk for a few days until I could find another one to borrow. My next impression: the tip of the applicator was difficult to cut—I don't own anything beyond kitchen scissors (no industrial knife here!), so it was a struggle for me to cut the tip, having inadequate hand strength to do so! The product itself was fine—minimal odour, no lingering scent, easy to clean up AND easy to scrape/trim edges of sloppily applied, dried caulking.

I don't think I'll caulk again anytime soon, but DAP's product made the clean up process a lot less messy than it might have been.

Caulking that will leave your guests gawking

I only used this indoors, as I have heard reviews that this doesn't do well outdoors, but for the kitchen, it worked well to create precise lines along our tiles and it was easy to clean up with water. I really found that helpful for us being newbies to DIY projects.

Excellent for all your Indoor and Outdoor Sealing

Received one tube of DAP Alex Plus for free in exchange for honest review.

The product works as indicated.

I used it to seal the dryer vent on the outside. This product works indoors and outdoors. It dries in 30 minutes or less. I did not paint but it was ready if I needed to. It was easy to apply with the proper applicator gun and you could use your finger to smooth it into the cracks. Excess cleans easy with a damp cloth and from your hands. It forms a waterproof seal ideal for outdoors. It was virtually odourless.

Will definitely continue to use the rest as needed to seal around the house in joints and cracks. It comes with a cap that you can close the top till next use but I suggest taping it with electrical tape also to make better seal and prevent from drying out.

Easy to use product

I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. We recently moved into a new house and have been slowly doing simple diy projects as we can. The baseboard we’re starting to peel on our upper level near the patio door. My partner was able to use this product to repair the cracks and seal it back up. He didn’t have any complaints and said the product worked well. It looks like new and we are happy. We plan to use this product again in the spring on our windows.

Good multipurpose caulk

We tried DAP's Alex Plus for use around our sink since its waterproof and multipurpose. This was our first time replacing the caulk near the sink area and we think it worked out well. It dries pretty quick, is mostly odorless and the white color worked well for our space. The caulk is easy to apply and smooths out nicely creating a clean and professional finish.
While it offers good durability and flexibility, I've noticed that it can sometimes be a bit tricky to clean up without taking it all away with a pass of the damp cloth.

Good all-round caulking for DIYer and homeowner

I do DIY projects and make small repair at my home. This caulk is a good staple product for such use cases. Obvioiusly if you need to caulk the bathtub I won't be using this, but for general caulking around the baseboard, window frame, or between two materials, I would recommend this. Price point wise it's quite budget friendly, and having acrylic allows for paintability, while the silicone gives some flexibility. It even advertise 40 years life span - I can report back 40 years later :)

Great product!

This all-purpose acrylic latex caulk with silicone is an amazing product! It is very flexible, durable, and has excellent adhesion to create a long lasting waterproof seal. It is so versatile in use which is great for projects all around the house!
