Amazing!

I received this product free from Butterly for reviewing purposes! I gave this caulk to my Dad because he used Dap caulk all the time! My Dad is Mr. Fix It! If something’s broken he will fix it! He told me Dap is his #1 go to caulk! It’s the only one he will use! He uses it to fill in the space between the baseboards and the wall, to seal windows, around our shower and toilet and many more home projects! He also does small jobs and repairs for people and always uses Dap! It is excellent at sealing,stays put and lasts forever! He would recommend it to everyone!

Great caulk + silicone sealant for weatherproofing

I tried the Alex Plus All Purpose Acrylic Latex Caulk Plus Silicone for both indoor and outdoor sealing. Found it great for weatherproofing with the winter nearing. Used it with a caulking gun. It took some time to dry but could paint over it. Silicone makes it flexible and easy to apply for gaps. Overall a good product!

Good multipurpose caulk

We tried DAP's Alex Plus for use around our sink since its waterproof and multipurpose. This was our first time replacing the caulk near the sink area and we think it worked out well. It dries pretty quick, is mostly odorless and the white color worked well for our space. The caulk is easy to apply and smooths out nicely creating a clean and professional finish.
While it offers good durability and flexibility, I've noticed that it can sometimes be a bit tricky to clean up without taking it all away with a pass of the damp cloth.

Good all-round caulking for DIYer and homeowner

I do DIY projects and make small repair at my home. This caulk is a good staple product for such use cases. Obvioiusly if you need to caulk the bathtub I won't be using this, but for general caulking around the baseboard, window frame, or between two materials, I would recommend this. Price point wise it's quite budget friendly, and having acrylic allows for paintability, while the silicone gives some flexibility. It even advertise 40 years life span - I can report back 40 years later :)

Quick, Reliable Seal

I recently used DAP Alex Plus Acrylic Latex Caulk Plus Silicone to seal the windows in my home, and I’m genuinely impressed with how easy it was to work with and the results I got. The caulk went on smoothly and had just the right consistency which made application clean and precise. It adhered well, even in some tricky spots around the frames, and it dried to a solid, flexible seal that I can already tell is going to last a while. I also appreciate that it's paintable, so I will be able to match it perfectly to my window trim. Overall, I’m really pleased with how well this product worked for my project and wouldn’t hesitate to use it again for other areas around the house. Highly recommend!"

Easy to Use for Beginner or Expert

I was very happy with the quality of Alex Plus white DAP, which is an acrylic latex caulk plus silicone with a 40 year lifespan. I used it to seal around the edge of some windows in my home. I wanted a product that would create a waterproof seal, dry quickly and have low odour. It was easy to use once I got going, but I did spill some when getting ready to start the job. Luckily it cleans up easily. I would reccomend DAP to anyone doing any type of repair job, sealing projects or crafting. It dries and is paintable in thirty minutes and can be used on interior and exterior projects while allowing flexibility. I plan on using it again.
