Great fast drying sealant

I was surprised when I got this product for free to try. Being that I live in Canada and it is currently December, I thought for sure this would be a flop for me. With the quick drying time and ease of use I was surprised I could get the job done and not have a gloopy mess on my hands. I will have to see how it holds up, but I am definitely impressed with it so far!

Excellent waterproof sealant

I received this sealant for free in exchange for my honest review. We’ve been switching out our windows, so this was the perfect time to test this out. It felt secure knowing that it was weather and waterproof, so using in our bathroom window meant the product would hold up. I found it thicker than other sealants I’ve used in the past, but it feels like this will be a long lasting product because of this. #ampsealants

Reliable all weather sealant

Applying the sealant was a breeze. Its smooth consistency made it easy to work with, and it adhered effortlessly to different surfaces. I also appreciate its mold and mildew resistance, ensuring that the areas sealed remain clean and free from unwanted growth. Additionally, the fact that it's white allowed me to match it seamlessly with my existing color scheme.

Ok for now

I got this for free to try out from Butterly. It applies easily, forms a nice bead. Not noticeable scent when using it. The problem is we were given this product to try in early December in Canada. Yeah the temperature are within their wide range for this product but this isn’t the ideal time. Take 24 hours to set. I’m unable to really talk to that or how well it works/ seals. So this review is for initial application only.

Works amazing!

Great for Canadian Weather!

I got the chance to try DAP's AMP All Weather, Window, Door, and Sliding Sealant for free in exchange for my honest review.

Perfect timing as I just got my storm door to install (December in Ontario!) and as I was applying, it started to rain, so I was able to test the wet application in cold weather! It was easy to use, great for DIY'ers like me as I felt that it was rather forgiving. It wasn't too hard to apply, but I felt that it was a little bit more fluid than I expected, so it made the application easy as it felt like a bit more came out than what I usually would use.

Other notes on the product - it states on the packaging:
Wet Surface Application (Yes! I applied it when it started to rain outside!)
30 Minute Paint Ready (I wasn't able to test this as I got caught up in other projects)
Low Odour (Yes! I didn't even really notice it!)

Overall, easy to use and it works! I would definitely look around the house now to see what else I can reseal!

Mold Resistant & Goes on Wet

The best thing about this product is that is is mold resistant (time will tell how well it stands up to humidity), goes on easily and can be applied to wet surfaces without having to worry about drying the surface completely prior to application. In most cases it's obviously best to have a perfectly clean and dry surface to work on but this is great for those emergency situations when that's not an option. The only drawback I found was that the product is a tad more runny than similar products on the market, but you can easily compensate for that by simply using less pressure or starting off by cutting a narrower tip than you normally would to help compensate for any potential overflow.

Sealing up a kitchen window

We've had issues with our window during the winter months. We ripped out the water damaged moulding and it is time to seal both the inside and outside of the window. I can say that application is as easy as all the other dap caulking. I love the white to match my windows. A follow up review is warranted to see how it holds up. Worked well for bathroom trim

I used this DAP AMP Sealant on the seams of my newly installed bathroom trim. I like that it is a very bright white colour and the finish looks beautiful. However, it is a bit more viscous than other sealants, and i found it did take longer than 30 minutes to dry. Overall this is a good product, and I'm excited to try it on my trim outside. Great basic white caulking

I received this product free to review in exchange for my honest opinion. This product works as intended. It is easier to use provided you know how to use a chaulking gun. The product comes out easily. It looks great, dries quickly, and is a nice white colour.
