Works great

This kit is great. I love that it already contains everything I may need - spackling of course, but also a putty knife, a fiber patch for holes and sandpaper. I already own all these additional things, since we do small repairs at home all the time, but it's nice to have it all in one kit, especially for people who are doing this once and don't need to own the tools, or for those doing it for the first time. The spackling is a bit thicker than I'm used to, but now that I used a few types, I have no preference over its thickness. This one works perfectly well. It's easy to apply and I love the pink colour indicator. It makes it easy to judge when to sand and paint over it, since I normally wait longer than recommended to make sure it's completely dry. The pink to white colour indicator makes this fool proof and great for those doing it for the first time. I need to note that the spackling in the jar also starts to turn white, which means it's drying, so I recommend working quickly and closing the jar as soon as possible. I didn't use the patch, since I don't have big holes to patch up right now, but it seems to be sturdy, and I love that it can be cut to size. The putty knife worked well with this spackling kit and the sandpaper has the perfect grit, although I noted small pieces of sand got stuck in the wall after sanding (barely noticeable). Most importantly, once dry and sanded down the area of the wall is perfectly smooth and ready to be painted. I will use this kit to patch up all my walls and prep them for painting!

Very easy to use

I was fortunate enough to be able to test the Dap Wall Repair Patch kit for from Dap and Butterly for free for my honest review. My husband and I are redoing our bedroom. And the Dap wall Repair Patch kit was what we need to repair this hole as you see in the pictures. It was very easy-to-use and the directions very clear. Absolutely recommend. Simplifying my home repairs - huge timesaver

We received a free sample of the DAP spackling and thought we'd try it since it was free but so glad we did since this is AMAZING. We aren't really "do-it-yourself" type of people but this made it so simple. We had a little accident where someone got a little tipsy an put their head into our light switch causing a hole behind it. We were dreading fixing it but this made it so simple. The pink makes it very easy to see where you apply in and there was no room for mistakes when ready to sand as we just had to wait for it to go white. We have a ton of small hole and dents to repair so this will be a huge timesaver!

Pink to White Delight

I was gifted this awesome kit courtesy of DAP and it is incredible! I've been putting off a few wall repairs as it seemed daunting for a beginner, but this spackling kit made it SO easy! It comes with everything you need: a tub of Drydex spackle, a putty knife, a patch for bigger holes, and sandpaper! I literally patched up 4 holes within minutes. I love that it turns from pink to white when it dries. Extremely helpful feature! I will absolutely be purchasing this for my next projects!

Patching a hole DIY has never been this easy!

Got this from butterfly as free product in exchange for my honest review. Hole Wall repair has never been this easy DIY thanks to Drydex Spackling Kit. Everything you need is included from spatula to sand paper. It is very easy to use and instructions are very clear especially for a first timer like me. I enjoyed repairing the small holes on our wall with thiS KIT. I love the color pink as well, it turns white once you know it’s ready for sanding.

Drydex Product Review

This product was excellent at helping me to repair my baseboards. It may go in pink, but it definitely dries white! I have rabbits at home that free roam, and create all kinds of damage to the baseboards, so this product was a lifesaver!! Even better, I got it for free from Butterly! I highly suggest using this product to fix any wall or baseboard damage in your home. It is easy to use and a little bit goes a long way!

Quick and easy

Let's talk about this Drydex Spackling kit by DAP for wall repair. We had minor damage in one of the walls. This kit saved us from big expenses. So easy to use and dries in no time. It applies pink but dries white so you can color it to cover the damage. It also comes with a patch kit if you need to cover a 2-3 inch damage. Très pratique à avoir à la maison

En tant que propriétaire d'une maison récente et maman de jeunes enfants, c'est très pratique d'avoir un petit ensemble de réparation de murs à portée de la main. Il y a tant de petits accidents qui peuvent arriver avec des petits! Le produit est très facile à appliquer et à utiliser.
