Feel like a pro repairperson

Due to some previous renovations done in my home some bad and some good, there are some patches in my home that needed to be repaired. I normally use the Drydex spackle for small and larger holes, but this spackle kit, made repairing larger holes so much easier. What I would do in the future is try to place the patch inside a hole so that I can get an more even finish without the risk of the patch holes coming through. Another con would be that the kit does only come with one patch so if you have alot of repairs to do, you would need to buy additional patches independently. Overall a great product.

Ready to paint (not pink)!

I got this product for free in exchange for a honest review. I used similar products in the past to patch holes created by removing tv mounts. One of the issues that I kept running into was to tell if the product was fully dried and ready for paint. This product from DAP solved my problem. When the product was still wet, it was pink in color. Once it dried, it turned white. In addition to that, the mesh patch that came with the package was easy to use. You can use a penciled to drew on it and cut it with a pair of regular scissors.

Great colour changing concept!

I received the product to try and review for free. It’s a easy to use and honestly a good size kit. It allows you to fix your walls without having to buy an entire tub of the product. It’s good for the price, but the colour is still somewhat pink in some areas. I’ll give it a few more days and i honestly don’t think it’ll matter as much as I’m going to paint over it later on with darker colours.

Pink to White yahoo

Loved this product. Perfect size container for little patches around the house. The product itself is fabulous. It goes on smooth and pink. It dries white. So simple and easy. The texture is really good, not gooey, not runny, its a good consistency.

Great Spackle but Not the Patch

The Drydex Dry Time Indicator Spackling Kit that I received for free from @thisisbutterly and @dapcanada contained spackle, sandpaper, a patch and putty knife. On it own the spackle applied very easily, allowing for a smooth application over the nail holes I needed to fill, however I found that the included patch was much to thick to apply nicely so did not use. When first applied and wet it is pink, but the spackle dries, without shrinking, to white letting you know it is ready to sand. The container contains a deceivingly large quantity of spackle which will allow for multiple uses, meaning you will probably need more sandpaper for any future jobs. #thisisbutterly #gotitfree #productreviewclub #chickadvisor #productreview

Great all in one kit

I received this DAP Wall repair patch kit to test for free from Butterly. This kit was great and easy to use. The kit contains all you need for a quick repair job. The kit contains spackle, sandpaper, a patch and putty knife. The great part about this product is that the putty changes color when dry. This takes all the guess work out as to when to start sanding. Only thing I would have wanted was more sand paper. Overall this was a great product and would purchase it in future.
