this product was gifted to me & It’s great for filling in holes in the wall. i like how its pink and then dries into white. it has a thick consistency which makes it good for that specific job.

Spackle wall repair kit

I got this product for free to review. The package comes with the spackle, a patch, a piece of sandpaper, and a putty knife. I thought it was really great that all this things can come in one kit for a small home repair. The spackle also turns from pink to white as it dries to help indicate when it’s dry enough to sand.

The cons of the product: the putty knife is small-which is nice for fitting in the small container, but provides a messy finish when covering a bigger area. Because it’s more messy you almost need more sandpaper as well. There is also a point in the drying time when it looks like it might be dry but isnt(I was working in a space with just a light though and not with natural light, so this might not be an issue otherwise.

Overall for a small repair I could see this kit coming in handy.

A little goes a long way

I recently used the DAP Wall Repair Patch Kit to fix some dents and holes in my walls, and I’m thrilled with the results! The kit comes with everything needed, making the repair process quick and straightforward. The instructions are easy to follow, and the patch blends seamlessly with the wall, leaving a smooth, professional-looking finish. It dries fast, which saved me a lot of time, and I was able to paint over it within a few hours.

My only minor complaint is that the patch compound can be a bit tricky to sand if it’s applied too thickly, so be careful to smooth it out as much as possible before it dries. But overall, this is a fantastic product that I’d recommend to anyone needing a quick wall repair solution!

Great product!

This is such a great product! I was lucky enough to get it free from butterfly! It goes on pink and smooth filling what was needed a fill so you can see where you have touched up and dried up white so you can't even tell it was fixed! Great product! Thanx @dapcanada
