Great for inexperienced DIYers

I received this product for free from Butterly and DAP in exchange for my honest review. Very handy little wall repair patch kit that contains all the little tools you'll need for a quick patch up. It's easy-to-use even for inexperienced DIYers looking to patch up around the house. It comes with 237 mL of spackling and a 5" patch, which was enough for me to repair around 3 small sized holes on my walls. Note that if you have a really big hole in your wall, this kit's 5" patch is only suitable to patch a hole with a maximum diameter of up to 4". I only tried this product on small holes around 1" in diameter and it patched up quite well. This DryDex spackling utilizes a colour change as the indicator for when it's dry and ready for sanding. It goes on pink and dries white, blending right into my walls. The putty knife fits well into the spackling tub with room to spare and scraps well even when you're at the last bit of product in the tub. This kit also comes with a piece of sandpaper to smooth the rough surfaces after the repair.

Excellent Kit for everyday use

This kit was super easy to use for repairing various holes in my home. I am a female and was very proud of how I was able to repair easily using this kit. It provided easy to follow instructions and I didn’t want to stop using it until all repairs were done :)

Love this little kit

Tried this patch repair kit from @dapcanada??? This kit is super easy to use, comes in handy to fix any little cracks and holes in your home and the best part is…. It’s PINK but dries down to white so could easily tell when it’s ready. The kit comes with a 237 ml of spackling tube, a spatula and a 5” fiber tough patch!! Great little wall repair kit!

The DAP Wall Repair Patch Kit comes with everything you need for wall-patching: spackling, a patch, a putty knife and sandpaper. The spackling goes on pink and turns white once dry making it effortless to know when it is safe for sanding or applying another layer. My only wish would be for the sandpaper to be just a little bit bigger. Overall, the kit is easy to use and even those who don’t consider themselves great at home repair fix a small hole in their wall on their own. Easy way to patch your mishaps in drywall

Received the Wall Repair Patch Kit featuring DRYDEX Dry Time Indicator Spackling for free to test. It included the spackle, a small putty knife (in case you don't have one) a small 13cmx13cm patch for holes and a piece of sand paper. I didn't have any holes to fix so i didn't test the patch, but I'm sure it'll work fine , even if cut into smaller pieces for smaller repairs, but it seems a bit thick for my liking. I just used the spackle to fix a few scratches and dings in my wall and liked the the color changing from pink (when still moist) to white when dry. I let it dry a bit longer even after it turned white to make sure it's fully dry. It was easy to sand with my sanding sponge, but it produced quiet a bit of white spackle dust, the dust didn't fly in the air but fell straight down. On very shallow repairs i didn't even use sanding, i just wiped lightly over it with a damp cloth a few times which smoothed it out enough for repainting and no mess from sanding. Overall I'm happy with the product (spackle) , it was smooth and easy to apply, but i think if someone is using the hole patch, it might be to thick for someone who has never fixed a hole with spackle and tries to make an invisible repair. The patch might be strong but it'll take quite a bit of work to get it even with the wall. Your milage my vary :)

Ok for small holes

Received this package product for free to test/review being a contractor. Considering my years of experience, this would not be my go-to for drywall/plaster repair options. I did have a few small holes to repair for the review. For an inexperienced individual, technique for a perfect finish handling the 2-inch puddy knife would be a challenge, would likely only be suitable for holes up to half-inch diameter. Puddy knife should be wider with secondary straight-edge for cleaning applicator. Shrinks/cracks when cured.

Dummy proof

Great product! The color change is super helpful in knowing when it's dried. Even as a housewife I was able to apply this to our wall to quickly patch up a hole made by the kids.

Simple and quick

I received this for free for my trial and review. I had a couple holes in my bathroom wall and this patched them wonderfully. The product is so easy to use, I love the fact that it starts out pink and turns white as it dries. The dry time was quicker than I expected. When it dries I used the included sand paper to smooth the patch . It sanded smoothly, to the feel you can't tell the holes were there other than the colour difference from the painted wall. It was so simple to do I went through out my apartment looking for spots to patch and smooth out. Great product.
