Easy & reliable for small home repairs!!!

I’m really impressed with this kit, which includes tub of spackling, a putty knife, a fiber patch, and sandpaper. We’ve been using bigger spackling tub from DAP but I was curious about the pink-to-white feature, and it’s great for those who only need a few tools. It’s easy to use, super handy and saves time. While I haven’t used the patch yet, it seems durable and can be cut into desired size. The putty knife and sandpaper did their jobs well, leaving it smooth and the repairs blended seamlessly with our white walls. Excited to fix more dents!

Not as effective as I thought it would be

I received this Drydex repair kit to test and review for free compliments of Bitterly right at the perfect time. It just so happens. We are doing minor renovations so this is a great time to try it out. I've used spackling in the past and really enjoy the indicator aspect of it (turning from pink to white), it really takes the guesswork out of dry time. One thing I did notice about the spackling is you have to be careful of how thick you apply it otherwise, like me, you'll end up doing a lot of sanding. This was my first time trying out these patches and have to admit I'm not a fan. I've tried other patches before that have worked a lot more seamless and although I feel like the perforations in the patch probably make it adhere better to the wall, It did make it hard to smooth out the putty fairly evenly. I also found that the putty knife included in the kit was a bit too small for the job I needed it for and feel like with the size of the patch included the putty knife should be another inch or two wider anyways. Overall though, I do enjoy using the spackling but as far as the patch part, not a fan and the reason for giving a three out of five

Easiest DIY

The Drydex Dry Time Indicator Spackling 1 Ea White/ Kit made fixing my walls so much easier than I expected! After using it the kit I can't believe how long I have waited to do that! I love that everything you need is right in the kit, and there’s plenty of putty to tackle even a few spots if needed. I especially loved the dry-time indicator—it changes color to let you know when it’s ready to sand and paint, which took away all the guesswork. The tools included are super handy, and instructions were easy to follow. Cleanup was a breeze since there was barely any mess to deal with. If you’re like me and not exactly a DIY pro, this kit makes the whole process so simple and stress-free. I did find it took 2 coats to get it to perfect coverage. My only wish is that it came with more patches.

One of the best product to avoid loosing security

This product is one of the best product to be consider to repair dry walls, plaster, masonry surfaces with the holes of up to 3 inches in diameter. This has a time indicator to know when it will be dried and ready after the mixture.

Best Wall Repair Kit

This is my favourite wall repair kit to use before painting. It fills holes very nicely and tells me when it’s dry for sanding. Always a smooth finish. I got this product for free but it’s the same brand I always buy so I knew I was going to love it. Came at the perfect time to redo my laundry room

I received the DAP Wall Repair Patch Kit featuring DRYDex Dry Time Indicator Spackling for free, and here's my honest take on it.

Before Use:
I had a few small holes in my drywall and dreaded patching them because I could never tell when the surface was ready for sanding or painting.

After Use:
The kit includes everything you need: DRYDex spackling, a fiber patch, sandpaper, and a putty knife. The DRYDex spackling goes on pink and turns white as it dries, so you know exactly when it's ready for the next step—no more guessing! Perfect Small Repair Kit

I received this product free from Butterly for an exchange of my honest review.
The kit is a bit small so i would recommend it for only small repairs but it comes with everything you need even down to the sandpaper! The drydex applies pink and dries white so while your applying it you its easier to see where it has been placed. Good product for diy patch repair
