I received one Elastoplast SOS Blister Patch to try out awhile ago, but never had a blister to try it on until last week. They are supposed to be ideal for blisters on your heels and that’s right where I had mine. They claim that the Elastoplast SOS Blister Patch relieves pain, seals the affected area safely against dirt and bacteria and helps to heel your blister faster. The patch is a fare size, but when I opened it to apply it to my ankle I was surprise to find that the sticky part of this patch covers the whole patch. This means you have to apply the sticky part right on top of your blister along with the surrounding area. They say it has extra strong adhesion that helps to keep it in place for days, but because of the way this patch is made it also sticks right to the blister. So when you do take the patch off your skin that has been razed because it was full of water peels off right along with the patch!! Not what you want to happen at all. As far as I’m concerned this makes your situation worse not better. The Elastoplast SOS Blister Patch did stay on my ankle for a few days, but when I went to remove it my skin came off along with the patch just as I thought would happen. I wouldn’t recommend you try the Elastoplast SOS Blister Patch on any blister unless you like more pain then you started with.
