Disappointed in the elf lip prime and plump

I was so excited to try this . As soon as I got home I tested out the primer side first and I hate it . It is a weird thick Sticky concealer type product. Which is such a waste of money I could of used my own concealer and added to my lips , which is NOT what I am looking for . The lip plumper broke off the second it touched my lips ... smells like cinnamon which is fine , made my lips tingle but didn’t see a difference in “ size “ or plumpness . I am pretty disappointed because I do own a lot of elf products :( I do not recommend

Not a fan

Tried this product it made my lips actually feel like they were burning. The plumper end of this actually broke in half on me after the first use. The price was right for a reason. Very disappointed.

The cinnamon balm is great

Half of this is great, the cinnamon balm is spicy and gives a goof tingle. Do not like the pale prep end. Feels like im putting concealar on my lips and doesnt seem to help lipstick wear anybetter?

First off, for a drug store brand I love Elf! Great prices and decent quality. I was excited to get this product to add to my collection but here's my pros and cons on this one.... I hate the lip primer as a lip primer, I felt like I was just applying concealer to my lips and just yuck! Applying lipstick over it just wasn't working as it would just blend with the primer colour. So I repurposed it and I use it as under eye concealer which works good. The lip plumper is okay... I really like that it's a cinnamon scent and you feel a slight sting but for me it didn't do a whole lot, just brought more of a natural colour out in my lips. I wouldn't bother repurchasing, I like the Too Faced lip plumper much better!

Due to the white base, if you use this under lipsticks, it will lighten then considerably. The lip plumper is cinnamon based, and smells as such. The plumper side also goes on clear. I'm not sure if this did much to plump my lips, but I did get a tingly sensation immediately after using this. The lip plumper does moisturize your lips however, its a bit too oily to work well as a base for lipstick.

I was really excited to try this but it was quite a disappointment. At $4cad, it's very affordable and I figured it couldn't be that bad. The primer side works okay... It goes on very streaky so it makes me feel like my Lipstick won't go on very well. It works okay but I don't feel like it does much... It maybe keeps my cream lipsticks on a bit longer but I can't tell a difference.

The lip plumper side however was a completely fail. After a couple of uses, the bullet wouldn't twist up anymore. I had to pry it out of the packaging and put it into a small container to use. The first week or so of using it, it was very stingy on the lips but didn't do much for plumping... It just made my lips burn. After a couple weeks of having it, it didn't even feel tingly anymore... It was just a slight tingle for a few seconds and then it would fade. This side of the product was a huge fail.

It's not even worth the $4 to end up with 1 mediocre product. I cannot recommend at all :(
