Tasted awful

It worked alright for acid, the needing to take it after a meal and not be able to snack however is limiting. The taste was brutally awful and like synthetic chocolate. I couldn't finish even one full package for the review.

Effective but too gooey

As I’m growing older, I’m experiencing more frequent and severe bouts of acid reflux and heartburn. So I was excited to test EsopH Acid-Reflux Therapy. The single-use gel pack sachets are taken after each meal to help protect the esophagus from acid reflux damage and irritation. I really wanted to like this product, but the gooey gel consistency and taste was just not for me. I have always been more of a fan of tablets and calcium chewables for heartburn relief. These sachet gels are just too slimy for my liking. Despite being relatively effective at relieving my reflux, I just unfortunately don’t see myself wanting to continue using this product in the future.

May work for others but it did not for me

I was given three packages of EsopH from Butterly in exchange for a review. I think the idea of a gel instead of a tablet is interesting. However, you have to be quite diligent not to eat and drink anything for a period of time or else the “barrier” created on your esophagus will wash away. First thing I did not like was the taste. Second is that it did not help my acid reflux. In fact, it felt like it made it worse and I chose not to continue. I think I will be sticking to taking pepcid prior to eating or drinking anything that would trigger my reflux.

Worked like traditional methods

Both my husband and I tried Espoh acid reflux therapy sachets after carb rich meals to help aid acid reflux and heart burn. I like the idea of single sachets, very convenient to use. We followed the directions and neither found this product any more beneficial than traditional antacids. The smell was not pleasant and it didn't taste great either. It tasted like what we would imagine paint to taste like. I'm sticking with my usual, if different flavoring becomes available I'd consider retrying this though.

The product made me want to throw up.

Sadly, I couldn't test the product correctly. I have a sensitive stomach. The taste and texture made it hard to swallow.
But I did notice that the product does coat the throat pretty well.

Not what I was hoping for

I have horrible acid reflux while eating and unfortunately this product did not help and kinda made things worst. The flavour is not the best but it is bearable. I was really hoping that this product was the solution to my acid reflux.

Tastes awful

I was really hopeful for this product because I have suffered with acid reflux for so long. I was so excited when I received it. I was happy to see the individual packaging and thought how great it would be that I ours just throw a few in purse for when I wasn’t home.
I cut a package open and poured the contents into my mouth. I unfortunately did not get it all out because the texture and flavour were absolutely awful. This was so disappointing. It was very thick. I can’t even describe the taste. It was almost like clay. I really wish they would have put some flavour in it. The aftertaste lingered even after eating. I unfortunately will not be consuming any more of the product.

Didn't work

I took one after getting heartburn and it didn't relieve any symptoms, then half hour later I took another one and it just made me left sick to my stomach doesn't taste great either
