I love Facebook.
I hate that it is so addicting though. I'm actually addicted to the contests on Facebook not people's business.
I've won so many contests this past few months on there. I absolutely love it and when I win it always comes at the right time and makes me so happy!!
I do love the mommy groups that are local as well. Buying and selling on Facebook is so easy and much better than going to garage sales
Like I said - for me it's not to be social it's more for the contests :)
To keep in contact for group projects or your aunt, facebook is simple and easy to use. I like that I'm able to teach my grandma how to use it (email is more confusing to teach) so it has been quite the treasure to be able to bond with my family on an easy platform.
Facebook has become an uncle in the social media family. It's not very fun but you visit once or twice none the less. Nothing incrediblly bad nor good. Eh ... it's okay
Over the past few years my activity on Facebook has declined..now the only time I go on it is for some quick scrolling/browsing as opposed to sharing information; I also hate the Messenger feature that cannot be used through the Facebook app...an additional app must be downloaded which I refuse to do.
I liked the old, more simplified Facebook better....though I do like the new emotions.
The fact that a lot of my family and friends live 3000 miles away from me I like that I can keep in touch and see pictures daily but then I feel some others put all their daily stuff on there that not everyone needs to see and it becomes annoying so I am 50/50 on it.
Facebook is a good thing and a bad thing. It is nice to catch up with family and friends that do not live close to you but Facebook can also destroy relationships and marriages. People need to draw the line on what to post and what not to post and keep your personal problems off of Facebook. People are spending way to much time on it instead of being active or not spending time with family. I believe there are to many secrets that people keep from their spouses or other half from Facebook. I refuse to let my 12 year old have an account with Facebook yet!
I think facebook is a good site. It makes it easy to contact people far away or meet someone new or find an old friend. Its easy to use and almost fun to use once you get the hang of it! I would Deffenitly recommend facebook to any of my friends that didn't have it !
I love Facebook for staying in contact with close friends and family. But at times I want to disable my account because people can be so dramatic, stange and utterly hopeless! If you keep your FB friends list small then it can actually be quite fun. I often ask myself "do I really have 600 friends?"...and nope I do not!
I recommend Facebook, but with some reservations. There used to be a fun novelty aspect to be on the social media site and being able to be in contact with just about anyone with a click (or two or three). Somewhere along the way, something or some things have changed, and it feels a bit more mechanical, more forced, more intrusive, and more self promoting. This is the site that could possibly make or break you.
Because the site is ubiquitous, it is hard to escape it, and it is often better to create a profile and control your identity than to have none at all. It is one of the best ways of keeping contact with friends, family, customers, clients, and other people of importance. News travels fast through this. What faster and inexpensive way of sharing milestones than to post it on Facebook?
Turn on the privacy settings up, be very selective about who is your friend or follower, and watch what you post. Who knows who is watching, really?
Love seeing the world through the eyes of friends and family, is a way to stay in touch with loved ones
