Delicious Buttery and Light Scone

I found these 50 per cent off at Loblaws when I went one night, so I decided to try them. You can also find these at Independent.

I enjoy eating these after I've warmed them in the microwave for 30 seconds so they are nice and warm. I do find with this particular flavour, however, the cheese flavour is much more prominent when eating these without being heated. The dough is soft and buttery. When warmed, there is a mild cheddar cheese flavour that comes through, but only when you get a piece that has a club of cheddar cheese inside. I wish the cheese flavour was stronger. These taste freshly baked.

These can easily be stored in your freezer until you are ready to eat it. Then take it out and thaw it one night, or simply take it out and pop it in the microwave for 30 seconds. It really is that easy and convenient. I don't find any loss on taste.
