Love Fitbit Ionic

I bought myself this fitness band over 3 years ago when my Surge died. Since they no longer make the Surge this seemed to do what that one did. I love it because I like to go for long bike rides, walks and hikes and their is a built in GPS so I dont need my phone to be on me and it doesn't waste my phone battery or my internet data. I also love the fact that you can change the band as my last Fitbit I couldn't and when the band broke that was it. I do have a couple different colour bands that I use to here and there. What I dont like about the Ionic is that the screen isnt always on but I understand that saves the battery life. Btw the battery is charged by plugging it in and the charge last a few days which is great for me. Overall the Fitbit Ionic works for me as I just wanted a fitness band for steps, workouts, heartrate and GPS. I dont really use it for anything else even thou I can.

Awful watch - cant even keep time

I bought this watch and was ecstatic to use it. The first time I set it up the weather app would not work, which was not important to me at the time. 1 yr later, my Fitbit will not sync and will not connect with my phone. I download the new app and the new software and all is ok for the time being. 3 months later and the watch will not connect for anyone, will not keep time and Fitbit won’t do anything about it except a 25% discount off another watch!!! I already spent $400 on this one and they are telling me to throw it in the garbage after less than 1.5 yrs! I get that the warranty is up but that discount is ridiculous. I wasn’t even asking for a free one, just a larger discount and they said NO!

Worth the cost

I decided to bite the bullet and buy the new fitbit Ionic . It is AMAZING and does sooooo much . I like that fitbit allows to you make challenge groups on the app to help you stay motivated to meet your step goals everyday
