I took these muffins to the cottage along with some homemade banana muffins. They all lasted for 6 days before being completely eaten. These muffins stayed as fresh as the first day on the sixth day. They were so moist and fresh. Unfortunately at the price of $4.99 for a package of 4 I can't say that they will be a new addition to my grocery list. But if we were heading on a road trip I may consider grabbing them as a quick and filling treat.

LOVED THEM

We love Bran muffins in our house, and the banana in these was a very nice addition.
Banana and bran are not only a very tasty combination, but a healthy one.

The texture was good, they held up well, and being individually wrapped, they were so easy to throw into lunch bags for work and camp. I personally liked mine with a bit of butter. Combination of banana bread and a bran muffin. What's not to love?

Okay, but nothing to write home about

After having a rather hard time finding these. I finally found them a few weeks later hiding in the bakery (I had previously seen this in their own huge display, but clearly they ran out). A plus about these is they seem very fresh. They also don't have too strong of that artificial banana taste I can't stand... but I can still taste a bit. I was also hoping for a stronger bran flavour but unfortunately I couldn't taste any bran. Where I got mine they were 4 muffins in a box for $5. They are relatively small muffins and honestly they were nothing special. Between the taste and the cost I would not buy these on my own. The nutritional information on here is also a little bit concerning..... these are tiny muffins with just the same amount of calories and fat as a regular large muffin from Starbucks or Yim Hortons. I was happy to have tried, but would not buy again.

Great muffins

I really liked the Good & simple Banana Bran Muffins. I was surprised at how moist and rich the texture was. I like how they are individually wrapped.. perfect for people on the go. Bananas are one of my favourite fruits so the banana bran variety was definitely my cup of tea. Of course what makes these stand out is the fact that they are simply good and simple! Thanks Chickadvisor for giving me the chance to review these. #gotitfree

My new favourite

These muffins are incredibly moist and delicious, a perfect blend of bananas and bran. I like the fact that I can look at the ingredient list and recognize everything on there, and that the muffins are made with real bananas and whole grains with no artificial flavours. I regularly buy bran muffins in the bakery section of my grocery store and I could tell that these muffins were different right away with more of a homemade taste. I love that these are individually wrapped because I am always in a rush, especially in the mornings. I think the taste and quality of ingredients make the price worthwhile for me, and I will be purchasing these again in replacement of the storebrought muffins I usually buy.

Price and Quantity play a role, indeed!

This one i liked more than the fruit and fibre muffin, this one i found was more to my tastes whether i had it with tea or coffee. But i needed to eat it with a drink because it was a little too dry still.

One of the big factors into my decision on buying products are the price, i know i got to sample this, and even so it was on sale for $2.50...but when i saw the regular price of $5.00 for a set of 4 muffins, i thought it was a little outrageous, I understand this is a lot more healthy, and I'm all about good health. But my husband and I are on a budget, and we plan to have kids in the future, and one of the thoughts that came across my mind is "would this be a snack i would purchase for my kids to take to school?"
Unfortunately my thought was if its $5.00 for a pack of 4, I would have to say no. I rather either bake my kids muffins, or buy a set of 6 for $5.00, and give them carrot sticks on the side to be healthy.

I don't want to be a hater, but i do want to give an honest opinion.

excellent taste!

I loved that these muffins made me feel like i was eating banana bread! They were nice and soft, and i felt comfortable feeding these to my family with no artificial colours or flavours. Such a perfect quick snack or breakfast!

Store bought muffin, great for some

I was excited when I received the coupon to try the Good & Simple Banana Bran Muffins (#gotitfree) from the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. I did have an issue getting these because the couple times I initially went to the store they were sold out.

First, I did like the taste; however, there was really nothing that distinguished them from regular store bought muffins. I was left wondering how bad they are for you (because as we know, this type of muffin is usually worse for you than a doughnut).

One thing I'll say is that it's convenient. They are put into a box and individually packaged (not great for the environment) and they stay "fresh" that way. I don't normally start my day with this type of food (I'm more of a fruit and yogurt person) but when I had these it made my life slightly easier. That being said, I probably won't buy them again/change my morning routine as a result.

While it's not for me, I guarantee that it would be great for those who love a morning muffin. While not bakery fresh, they are a great and easy "grab and go" breakfast option so I would encourage you to try it if it's your thing.

Very surprised

I could believe it when i bought these i was a little sceptical when i went and picked up my banana bran muffins, I love banana and bran so together they are the perfect combination. So i bring them home and get one out to try and i was very surprised at how great they tasted. I couldnt belive how quick they were eaten the kids and my husband loved them they didnt last very long in my house. I could so see me buying these again having them for breakfast or a snack in betwen meals these are so yummy.
