What a great idea for a product. It really does stick on well, but only for a night or two. It built my child's confidence because he felt like a "big kid" not wearing a diaper, and I felt great knowing if he had an accident it would be caught/contained.
It worked for keeping the liquid in, and it was easy enough to remove.
Only downfall is that their clothes still get wet. I still prefer diapers, but to build my son's confidence I might use these and just have to do laundry.
As for recommending, I would suggest it to a friend, but I still think diapers are better. Less mess.

I received the GoodNites Bed Mats free to test as part of ChickAdvisor’s Product Review Club last week in the mail.. We tried the bed mat with my youngest daughter and found it very easy to use, Big and stuck to the sheet.It absorbed very well.I thought the product worked very well and I would recommend to friends.

They are nice and big, but my little one only occasionally wet's the bed....so after a couple of nights of her sleeping on it, and moving around like crazy, they didn't really stick to the bed anymore. Thus when she did wet the bed, it had moved so much that only part of it was underneath of her. The product itself is very effective and worked well.....but I think they would work better for ones that wet every night.

I have a 4 year old boy who sometimes pees the bed when hes sleeping. First impression was wow this is big then its like a giant diaper lol. Placing this on the bed was pretty simple just peel and stick "bonus" easy application. Its really thin and was confused on when to place this at first (over or under the sheets?) so over it went. Overall it protected his bed when he had an accident so this product worked really well for us. Recommend to my friends.

I am very thankful to have been able to try this product out through ChickAdvisor product review club.

The bed mats are made very well and are really thin, so thin you are curious how something so small will hold so much liquid, well it does.

My four year old daughter has been day time trained since 2.5 years old and has not yet fully got night time, so we decided to try these products through chickadvisor to see if it was something that would work for us. The first night we peeled the sticker packaging off of the mats, that was the most difficult part to this and really that wasn't that difficult but you can tell the adhesive works really well by this step, then just position the large mat around the area that your child sleeps. My daughter found this pad to be nothing less than as comfortable as sleeping without it, and it was not noisy at all. The first three nights she woke up dry, and with shifting around for three nights i think the mat may have moved around a bit, as the next day she had an accident and i noticed the pad had been really wet and it did go down through her sheets and onto our mattress protector. I decided to pick up some more mats and give them another chance as it had been three nights of rolling around and it may have knocked it out of place. So the next night she had another accident and this time the sheets stayed dry, i did have to wash the comforter but for me the pain of washing bed clothes isnt the bed clothes at all its the mattress protector as it takes forever to dry as it has to be on a low heat setting or could melt, The GoodNites Disposable Bed Mats help save me from washing and drying the mattress protector.

besides the bed mats we have used GoodNites training pants, which i will admit are my prefference as my daughter moves around so much, however i think for the sake of training if she is always sleeping in a diaper than she will not know the need to get up through the night to use the bathroom, she feels like a big girl as she is when sleeping in her underwear so we will continue to use the bedmats for now. I would recommend this product to other friends, especially to those who have kids who are trained but have the occational accident, as the bed mats are pricy for an everyday change.

I was so excited to be chosen to try out the Goodnites Disposable Bed Mats by the Chickadvisor Product Review Club. I have a 3 year old son who is in the process of training.

When receiving this item I immediately took it out of the package to see what it was all about. I was unsure because it was so thin, but it was large too, large enough to cover his sleeping area, it covered his bed well. The bed mat is soft and quiet unlike those plastic mattress protectors that make so much noise, my son likes to move around a lot in his sleep. They were super sticky and stayed in place but I found it was so sticky it was hard to remove off the mattress. That would be my only complaint. The bed mat also absorbed well and protected his mattress from leakage which is the main thing.

I would recommend this item to anyone training their child, I will be picking up a pack of these next time I am out, I only wish they were around when my older son was training, there would have been a lot less sheet washing!!

Thank-you for giving me the opportunity to try this product out, it will make the training part a lot easier and I don't think I would have bought this product if I wasn't given the opportunity to try it out first! I will be recommending this to all my friends with young children.

While these worked great (stayed put, absorbent, help avoid total bed changes), I have a few complaints:
#1 - The protective sheets over the sticky parts are VERY hard to remove
#2 - My daughter complained it was uncomfortable to sleep on
#3 - It was hard to remove
#4 - It wasn't quite big enough for the areas of the bed my wiggly daughter sleeps on.

All in all, good product, but probably not the right fit for 3 year old daughter's needs.

I received the goodnites disposable bed mats through the chickadvisor product review club.
My little girl was very curious about it and I told her what it was for. We've used a rubber sheet in the past, but it's getting pretty beat up.
After opening up the packaging I was impressed by the size and the fact that there are stickies on the corners to hold it onto the mattress.
The bed pads are really easy to use, my 4 year old put it on her bed all by herself. She did need my help to pull the backing off of the stickies but other than that, she had it under control.
They have remarkable staying power, as my daughter has had one on her bed now for about 3 days and it has yet to move (no one's peed the bed in THREE DAYS! Amazing!) so they really stay in place well. They're not noisy or slippery which is a nice change from the rubber sheet being under her regular bedding. I'm still not sure how absorbent they are as no one has peed the bed in several days (joy!) but when they do, I'll update this review.
I like them though and so does my kid.

I was a little concerned when we got the bed mats in the mail and I noticed that the bottom of the mat was plastic. How on earth was my constantly moving during sleep two year old going to stay asleep with rustling plastic under her?? I needn't have worried! Despite the plastic there was no rustle from her movement. The absorbent pad on top was also very soft and the pad was very thin so aside from seeing it, she didn't even notice it when I tucked her in.

The first thing we did was to take off the tabs from the adhesive backing. Very easy to do! My five year old actually helped me peel off the backs and position it on the bed. The tabs remained in place extremely well for having to stick to sheets! When my daughter did have an accident she didn't even wake up! Normally, she will wake up and shout and holler until we come get her and clearn her up! I only noticed that she had had an accident in the morning because her pj bottoms were wet. I felt the top of the pad and it was hardly even damp any more! It was also very easy to remove and to throw away (despite how well the tabs were in place).

Overall: great product, a Godsend for night training (especially because when we put a "night diaper" on our daughter she gets upset and says she's not a baby), very user friendly! The only thing that could use some tweaking is the price. If your child has more frequent accidents, this could gouge your pocketbook a little

My son is an occasional bed wetter so it took 3 nights before I could find out the effectiveness. In the meantime, it got some wear and tear from him moving around. the bed mat was absorbent and easy to dispose of. I use a re-usable plastic bed cover normally which that makes you hot when you sleep so this is a great alternative! I would recommend this to a friend with younger children for sure but my son is a bit too old to worry about the wear and tear that happens in between his accidents.
