Too pungent for me

I have the hand cream and found it greasy. This body cream has the same, strong, pungent scent that I don't like. I feel like it's a scent enjoyed by specific people and that's not me. However, it is not greasy on my skin like the hand cream and it's not as strong so I like it slightly better, but it's still not a lotion I would want to get whiffs of.

Restorative Body Cream

I received this Grown Alchemist Restorative Body Cream for free to try in exchange for my honest review. It's the time of year where I find my skin needs some extra moisture and TLC. This is the perfect addition to my after shower routine. It is a thick moisturizer that absorbs quickly without leaving my skin feeling tacky. It is lightly scented but I do not find it to be overpowering or overly long lasting. It provides the extra moisture that I need!

Luxury in a bottle!

I love this cream! Its so thick and luxurious feeling without leaving your skin feeling oily or sticky. I also love that they sized up for this product. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a higher end product that performs very well and smells amazing!

Love Using It Every Morning

Thanks to Butterly I got to try this Body Cream for free in exchange for my honest review. I have very dry skin and really enjoyed the fact that this cream has multiple moisturizing ingredients in it; Shea Butter, Jojoba Oil, Mandarin Oil, Vitamin C and E. The texture is very interesting because it is thicker than your traditional body cream but not thick enough to be considered a body butter. It is thick and moisturizing while still being fast absorbing and non-greasy. I get a slightly different scent every time I use it. Sometimes I get the bright freshly squeezed mandarin orange scent and other times I get the more herbal woodsy rosemary scent. Sometimes it's a mix of both but I find the scent usually fades after it dries down. Within 20 minutes you really can't smell it at all. This is good so that it doesn't clash with any other products you are wearing. They did a really good job at making a product that both men and women can use; everyone in my house likes it. The packaging is luxurious, it looks like a fancy amber glass bottle but it is really plastic so you don't have to worry about it breaking if it falls in your washroom.

Great moisturizer

I received this product in exchange for my honest opinion. Thank you butterly and grown alchemist!

This was the first time I've ever used any grown alchemist products. I've heard about them but never had the opportunity to give it a try. And I'm very pleased I got that chance.

Let me start with the restorative body cream. I've used it for about 9 days now and I'm very happy with the results. I used it day and night and after 9 days, my skin feels significantly softer and hydrated/moisturized as promised. The winter here in Nova Scotia has been rough on my skin and this cream helped me so much the last week or so.

Plant-based and containing ingredients such as shea butter, jojoba oil and mandarin oil, this cream is pleasantly non-greasy and does not feel sticky at all after applying it. The pump is easy to use and the consistency is very pleasant and easy to apply. You really don't need to apply a lot to feel a difference. Less is more !

The scent with this one is rosemary and bergamot. The scent is okay but I'd much prefer a fresher or sweeter scent.

After looking at the Grown Alchemist's website, their products and this cream are on the higher price range but in my opinion, very well worth it. I will be looking at trying other products from this company

Moisturized clean skin

This body cream is amazing!! It just gets absorbed into my skin, there's no residue or stickiness left like a few other brands that I have used. To me the orange scent of the cream is just calming and mesmerizing. I love that this cream consists of jojoba oil, Shea butter and orange. My skin is so nourished and soft after applying the grown alchemist body cream. Definitely recommend!!

At home spa experience

I really liked this lotion. You don't need a lot of product. The lotion is light and did not leave my skin feeling greasy. It was absorbed into the skin quickly. My skin was well moisturized and noticeably softer after using. The pump on the bottle works quite well. The lotion feels high quality and I really enjoyed the smell. It was not headache endusing or overly strong like a lot of scented lotions.
I'm a big fan of the simplicity of the packaging and what this brand stands for

If you are looking to bring the spa experience home, I would recommend trying this product.

Rich and heavenly

So I received this product to review and I am quite glad. Full blown winter is my very dry skin’s nemesis. So I always need a robust but still pleasant body cream and this fit the bill to a T. I honestly loved it! It’s so rich and yet lathers well, with none of the stickiness/heaviness I sometimes find in heavy creams. I tried it for the past couple weeks and it left my skin super smooth and hydrated. The all natura ingredients and vitamin C is great bonus. Plus, I loved the smell! It has the sweetness of the mandarin, undercut with a slight hint of "herbal-ness" coming from the bay leaf. It’s a gentle, elegant and soothing combo. So definitely a 5 stars product :)

Decadent body cream

What a wonderful body cream, a sharp but non lingering scent and a rich thick cream create a perfect combo for a winter cream. I have used this both on its own, as well as combination with the body cleanser. The scent complements the cleanser as is also well on it's own.

new favourite body cream

I wasnt sure how i was going to feel about this lotion as I often find rosemary overpowering. However, the cream was lovely and has a nice layer of scents. The mandarin balances out the rosemary very well and it is overall a well balanced lotion. It also keeps my skin hydrated longer than most other ones i've tried thanks to my super dry skin
