An empowering and feminine classic

This is one of my favourite scent, I have been using it for many years. The container is so beautiful, it has a vintage effect. I love its unique scent and it is long lasting. I spray a bit and it is so powerful. I only have compliments when I wear it. Shalimar is here to stay.

My all-time favourite

I can not even explain how gorgeous this perfume is. There is nothing out there like this, it is very warm, spicy and slightly sweet. I love to wear it during winter, somehow it manages to perfectly blend in with the crisp cool air. Definitely worth every penny!

Not a scent for me.

I have a small sample size of this perfume and as much as I tried to like it I dont. I get a strong scent of baby powder which would not be bad on its own but there's another scent that comes throughwith it that makes it unpleasant. I'm thinking it's Jasmine cause I tried an Avon perfume called Far Away and it also had a scent I did not like. When I looked both of the perfumes theonly similarity I could see is Jasmine. It could be that Jasmine is not a scent that I enjoy. Thankfully the scent fades after a few hours and the powdery scent is all that's left behind. I definitely wouldn't purchase this for myself. I also find the scent would be better suited for an older woman but that is my opinion. I did read other reviews on this product and a lot of people liked it. I personally prefer a simple, clean scent but this would be great for someone that likes powdery scents and enjoys Jasmine..
