Easter

I received the hatchimals from chick advisor 100% free for my child to test and me to review. It was a little late then when spose to arrive but due to weather and not chick advisor.
My daughter who is 4 & 7 were very excited as they never had a hatchimal before.
The packaging is very cute, easter themed which was what i gotten (The
CollEGGtibles).
It was easy for them to open, but it wasnt what we thought it would be. Honestly in my opinion it was very borning... You get 6 "mystery" animals which out the 6 you already see 2 of them. But the other 4 is the same exact animal but smaller. Very plain, same colors, just abit of glitter on the wings which come off easy. It wasnt very appealing and make a kid excited. They are just tiny figures which you will loose very easily. The only thing that was worth keeping was the basket they came in , thats the only thing my daughters actually kept playing with. I wont buy this again, its not worth the money in my opinion.

My daughter is a huge fan but ... me not so much

My daughter is THRILLED with this product, and I get it - it is cute and it has all the fun of the various blind-box type toys kids are obsessed with. My big problem with it is the excessive plastic waste. I would LOVE to see companies innovate and create more sustainable packaging for blind box toys! There are a lot of options out there, including compostable plastics like wheatstraw that could even teach kids a bit of science while they play. For my kiddo, 5 stars, for mom, 2 stars because of all the plastic.
