Interesting product

This is definitely an interesting product - I do really like it, it’s very handy for in cold areas. The flashlight is helpful for night walks and the RGB function helps keep know what heat setting I’m at! The handle has multiple comfortable settings and is a nice shape, as well as very sturdy. Unfortunately my pup will outgrow it very quickly - however this is an amazing option for people with smaller/medium dogs. I definitely recommend for those of us in chilly areas!

Luxury Need

This is a must have for cold winter dog walks!
We tried this several times over the past few weeks and I really enjoyed it. I especially liked the ergonomic handle as other brands are uncomfortable to hold after a while. I thoroughly enjoyed the heated handle and loved that I could get about an hour of heat on max. The retractable leash is super smooth when it releases and I enjoy that it's reflective. The RGB ring light on the side is a nice touch, not necessary, but it makes the walks a little more fun and if anything makes you more visible. I do wish the there was a better light indicator to show that the dog leash heated handle is on, as I didn't realize it was still on when I put it into the case, and two hours later realized it was still warm.
I thought the LED flashlight was impressively bright, making night time walks easier to see and making picking up dog waste easier. It is pricy for what it is, so it's a good investment, or a great gift for a dog friend.

I was lucky to try the Hotti Heated Dog Leash for free from Hotti and Butterly in exchange for my honest review!

With winter temperatures hitting -30°C and lower, this leash was a warm welcome (pun intended!)! The Hotti Heated Dog Leash warms your hands during winter walks using integrated heating elements in the handle. The heat feature has two settings to choose from. I found the low setting worked great with my bare hands and I could also feel the warmth through my mitten. I found the high setting was perfect for the frigid days!

The leash also includes: LED lighting for visibility, a built-in flashlight, and rechargeable battery. The LED lighting has several colours to choose from, which makes it fun! The flashlight is aimed perfectly toward the ground so you can see your pup. I found the batterly lasts quite a while in-between charges. It came with a USB-C charging cable.

The leash has reflective material to help with visibility when walking in the darker hours. It can extend to 12 feet and can handle a dog up to 45 pounds. The leash has a retract and lock feature with a push-button operation.

I would caution those with a puppy or a dog with puppy-like energy that is still all over the place on a walk because the lock and unlock button are pretty close to the handle, so I found myself accidentally releasing the leash when I didn't mean to. Once my little guy is trained, I foresee no issues.

Overall, I found that this leash was perfect for walks on cold days and nights!

Great leash

I love this leash. It is super comfortable to use and the heat is not too much that it will burn your hands but enough to keep you comfortable. I only felt that the lock to retract the leash could be better as it would sometimes unlock easily which could be concerning. Rest is perfect.

Heated handle, wow!

I must say this is a pretty cool invention. From the two different heat settings, to the multiple colored LED lights, built in flashlight, 12ft retractable and reflective leash!! This really does have it all. The only drawback is that it is a bit on the heavier side.

Warm winter hands

I’ve never used a retractable leash before, but I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked the Hotti Heated Handle Leash. It is convenient, and I found the 12ft length very easy to control.
The feature of the leash includes high-visibility elements in the dark, a built-in flashlight and the heated handle which is perfect for winter. I recommend turning on the heated handle a few minutes before heading out to warm up. The flashlight is handy and works best at close range.
This leash is ideal for small-to-medium dogs that don’t pull much.

Perfect Winter Walks with My Puppy And Hotti

Me and my puppy Laska really enjoy our winter walks here in Manitoba, Canada, where some days can get extremely cold. The Hotti Heated Dog Leash was a great product to try out during these chilly days.
The heated handle is fantastic-keeping my hands warm makes our walks so much more comfortable, especially in the evenings. The 12-foot leash gives Laska plenty of room to explore safely, and the built-in flashlight makes evening walks much easier and more secure.
The only minor thing I noticed is that the handle can feel a little slippery if you’re wearing gloves made from certain materials, but it’s not a dealbreaker.
Overall, this is a thoughtful, well-designed leash for anyone who walks their dog in cold weather. The combination of warmth, visibility, and ergonomic design really makes it stand out. Laska and I are enjoying our winter walks much more thanks to it!

Warm Hands on Winter Walks

The hotti heated handle dog leash is such a cool idea, especially here in Canada where the winter has been harsh. The instructions are clear for each setting and I love how it heats up fast. My hand stayed warm for our whole walk.

I love the flashlight- it is nice and bright; which I need when I take my Sophia out every night and every morning. The light settings are cool, they tell you your heat settings, then you can change up the colours.

The quality is really great, the handle is smooth, comfortable and easy to grip, the retractable ribbon leash is 12’ long, reflective and has good quality hardware. The buttons are easy to push and lock right away when you need the leash length stopped.

Winter must have for dog parents

This leash is a great addition to winter walks. I have a snow-loving pup that could spend hours outside if I let him. Unfortunately for him, I’m not a winter person and run cold all the time. The heated feature of this leash keeps my fingers from getting frosty when we are out on long walks, though I wish the warmest setting were slightly warmer for frigid days. I love the fun LED lights, and the flashlight is super bright and a great addition to help you see at night. 

The only thing I dislike is the retractable leash since my pup isn’t great at walking with one. If I could purchase a non-retractable version with a thicker leash for our daily city walks and training sessions, I would love it. I will definitely keep the retractable leash for our outdoor exploring walks, where I can give him more freedom to roam.

This leash offers not only 1 heat mode setting, but 2 temperature options. Low or High Heat! The round ring light offers fun esthetic colour changes.

The flashlight offers functional safety. I live on the very wet West coast. Atmospheric rivers seem to be more prevalent in recent years. The flashlight works perfectly for gloomy days that become even darker when nightfall sets in. I feel safer walking my dog.knowing we are more visible to drivers.

The heat settings helps warm my hands and decreases my arthritic and nerve pain.
