    I've tried a few of Jillian Michaels workouts and this is by far my favourite. I find I sweated more and was pushed more by this than by working out at the gym, even when I'd work out at the gym for an hour or more! Love that all you need is a yoga mat and weights, so easy to do at home. I've recommended 30 day shred to a few friends already :)

    I love this video! The 30 day shred is my favourite out of the Jillain MIchaels series of videos. I also have Boost Your Metabolism and Trouble Zones but this one differs because it is structured like a circuit training workout. You complete 3 circuits, which are 6 minutes each for a 20 minute workout. There are three workouts on the video and the idea is that you complete workout one for 10days and so on...

    The workouts are broken down into three segments:
    3 minutes strength
    2 minutes cardio
    1 minute abs

    What I love about this video is that the workout flies because of the way the circuits are broken down. They also are a great workout. I usually complete two of the segments at a time to feel a full workout. 20 minutes doesn't seem long enough for me to get my heart rate pumping.

    I would highly recommend this video, especially if you are together with a group of girl friends :)

    OK, so I normally have horrible luck with trying to find work-outs for our tiny apartment. I either find them extremely lame or there's just not enough room to do them.
    And then came Jillian. I have actually only once found a workout DVD that I liked more than this one, but it's around an hour long, and so for that reason alone this one tops my list!
    Jillian creates workouts that are effective (suited to your level) and for the price of one DVD you can work your way up the ladder of intensity.
    She is motivating and not in the normally cheesy way - there's something about this woman, she just wants to make you fit.
    This is a workout DVD that actually works (provided you do it) and only takes 30 minutes!
    Love it!

    This workout kicks my butt everytime.

    Jillian Michaels, the "mean" trainer from The Biggest Loser, takes you through 3 different 20 minute workouts. There's three levels and you really do need to get comfortable with level one before moving onto level 2 (made that mistake once).

    Each workout combines cardio with strength training, so you'll need some handweights. There's some ab work in there as well. Not as much of a cool down/stretching as I would like, but I just do my own after the workout's done.

    Even though these are only 20 minute workouts, they're hard! Lunges, jumping jacks, squats. I feel this more than spending an hour at the gym.
