A great resource for all levels of metal work.

I have been using this magazine for about 10 years, as a resource for my silversmithing work. I do find that there is a huge variety in the types of "art jewelry" - metal work, wire work, polymer clay, metal clay and lapidary. As someone who works primarily as a silversmith, I find that there is a lot of the magazine that doesn't appeal to me and I do wish that it was strictly metal work. However, I understand that's a dream - people were all gung ho about being jewelry "designers" a decade ago until they found out that it's difficult to do, as well as expensive. I still like the product reviews and the occasional project. I would recommend it for people who are looking to start in one of those art forms.
