My partner and I were doing some late January shopping at the mall. We went into Laura Secord and found these truffles at 75% off. They were originally $9.99 and now were $2.50. We thought: Wow, great deal, post-holiday chocolates! We had some and they were just OK. There was nothing special about them. We couldn't taste any Candy cane or any peppermint flavour. We looked at the ingredients and it has beet juice in it. I think it's for colouring and nothing else. These didn't taste any better than the truffles that you buy at the Dollar store. Except the ones at the dollar store are cheaper. It was a disappointment. I couldn't eat too many of them. I wouldn't buy them again. Not a good deal.
