Didn't live up to my expectations :(

As someone who loves L'Occitane fragrances, and prefers gourmand scents, I thought this product would be perfect for me. I do love the luxe packaging and powerful spray nozzle, as well as the concept of a hair and body mist to layer over lotions and perfumes. However, I am not impressed with this scent. To my nose, it is very powdery and old-fashioned--I don't detect the fresh almond and warm vanilla that I was promised. It's still a pleasant scent, and I don't mind layering it with other perfumes, but it's not something I would have purchased for myself and I think the branding is misleading.

I didn’t like the scent

I usually adore L’Occitane fragrances but this was not a win for me. The product came in a nice big bottle. I like that these fragrance can be used for the hair too. But I just didn’t like the scent of this one.

Can be a nice everyday scent

The initial scent of this when you first spray it is not pleasant. Smells a lot like chemicals. But once that has worn off which is fast, it has a nice almond vanilla scent to it. It lasts quite awhile but I wouldn’t say all day. I think I’d like it more if the first smell wasn’t so much like chemicals. But if you can get past that it’s a very nice everyday scent!

I'm Torn

I'm torn... while this develops a lovely warm smell after a few minutes, the initial smell is a little off putting. However, after that first 60 seconds, wow! beautiful and luxurious scent.

Not a value for money body mist

Not a great value for money product. Smells amazing but it is not long lasting and need to apply a lot more to see actual results. Packaging is great and luxurious but definitely not something I will buy again.

Very faint scent

I was genuinely excited to try this fragrance — the packaging is stunning and gives a luxe first impression.

But to be honest, I was a bit let down. At first spray, there’s a quick burst of scent, but it fades almost immediately after drying down. I had to press my nose to my skin just to detect anything.

What lingered the most, unfortunately, was a noticeable artificial scent — something synthetic that overpowered any of the delicate notes I was hoping to experience.

Visually, it’s beautiful. But scent-wise, it didn’t give the lasting impression I expected from a brand like L’Occitane.

Almond pastry goodness

Beautiful French patisserie gourmand type fragrance with notes of almond and vanilla in a heavy glass bottle with fine mister.
The fragrance is heavenly - in line with L'Occitane's Amande line - however lasting power is simply not there: the scent of the almond hand cream lingers longer than this mist.
I would revisit this scent in an EdP format however, but it's just not a viable option to carry the heavy glass bottle around for constant reapplication.
