A rich oil, but the scent is too strong for me

L’Occitane Shea Nail & Cuticle Oil's 30% shea oil makes it richer than most, and it noticeably softens dry, hardened cuticles with consistent use. The brush applicator is precise and easy, though the formula is quite oily and takes time to absorb.

My main issue is the scent — it’s strong and reminds me of diaper rash cream like Sudocrem or Desitin. If L'Occitane changed the scent, I'd be more than happy to give this product another try!

Softened cuticles

This nail and cuticle oil was very easy to apply. Quite a lot comes out so you don’t need to squeeze too hard. I didn’t love the scent. It was a bit too strong for me.
It was easy to swipe the oil onto my cuticles and nails. I then had to rub the excess oil into each nail.
The skin around my nails definitely softened. I did not notice a big change in the condition of my nails. My nails are terrible during winter and they looked a bit better but nothing miraculous.

L'Occitane nail and cuticle oil

The Nail and Cuticle Oil from L'Occitane is a lovely product. The oil does come out quite quickly so there was a bit of a learning curve to figure out how much to squeeze the tube. The brush is soft and gets into all the creases around my nails. It is a much nicer brush than other similar products. The oil absorbs pretty quickly and it makes my hands feel very soft. I am not a fan of the fragrance, it is very floral and not a scent that I enjoy. I have been keeping the tube beside me in the family room and instead of picking the dry skin around my cuticles I have been applying the oil and my nails and cuticles are looking pretty good. I am going to take it to work with me because I wash my hands constantly and I feel that having this close by will help me improve my cuticle care routine.

A must have!

After using this product for the last few weeks I’m obsessed! It smells amazing, goes on with a nail brush applicator and comes in a good amount.
