This has a bold and smokey flavour that I actually really like and it took me by surprise. The oak is smooth, if it was just a tad richer it would be right on the money but for non-alcoholic, this is incredible

Love the packaging, has a very strong herbal smell that brings me back to my childhood with my mom who loves brewing herbs. A little too strong for me when taken straight but as a cocktail it was actually nice

A smooth, smoky non-alcoholic whisky that actually

Mad Moose is one of the more impressive non-alcoholic whiskies I’ve tried. The flavour is genuinely smoky and oaked, with a warming finish that feels intentional rather than flat or overly sweet.

I especially appreciate the depth in the aroma and taste. You get notes of smoke, earthiness, and a touch of spice that make it feel closer to a traditional whisky experience, just without the alcohol or the after-effects. It works beautifully over ice and also mixes really well into cocktails when you want something elevated but still alcohol-free.

This is a great option for anyone who enjoys the ritual and flavour of whisky but wants something they can sip and still feel clear and present the next day. Thoughtfully made, full-bodied, and easy to enjoy.

It's so good!!

I tried the Mad Moose non-alcoholic whiskey and wow, it did not disappoint. I used it in a smoked cinnamon apple cider mocktail, and the blend of deep, warm notes with the sweetness of the cider was absolutely delicious. It’s smooth enough to enjoy on its own over ice, but it also elevates any mocktail you add it to. Truly a 10/10 , highly recommend.

Whiskey’s fraternal twin

This is a close second to the real thing! It’s lighter than regular whiskey but smooth and does have the smoky flavour and taste. With Christmas around the corner, it’s the perfect drink to use for mocktails or enjoy as is!!

Not for me, but a step in the right direction!

I can certainly appreciate having non-alcoholic options. If you are missing alcoholic whiskey, this MAY be the substitute for you. My husband and I are on the TTC (trying to conceive) journey so I have cut alcohol, but this is not something I will be enjoying regularly… It tastes like sugar water mixed with smoke flavouring. Which may satisfy a certain craving for you, but it was not something I enjoyed. The pros: no hangovers and cheers to more alcohol free options!

A nice alternative to the traditional stuff

This is a great alternative to traditional whiskey! It's got quite a bit of smokey flavour - so if that's your thing you'll love this! You can drink this neat, on the rocks or in a cocktail - basically you can enjoy this any way you would the real stuff but without the hangover, 0 sugar and great flavour!

it's not whiskey, but it's spicy

Mad Moose on the loose… but maybe a bit too loose for my taste? 🤔
I picked this up hoping for a solid non-alcoholic whiskey substitute. While it definitely delivers on the "heat" (it’s quite spicy/peppery!), I didn’t get the whiskey notes at all. It felt a bit thin and tasted more like a spicy, smoky tea or fruit water. 🍂
Cool branding and I love the low-calorie concept, but the flavor profile just didn't hit the mark for me.

Love the smokey taste

I love non alcoholic beverages, but this is the first time a try a non alcoholic whiskey. I have to admit, I didn't know what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised. I decided to drink it over ice, to really taste the product. I loved the smokey taste or it and it went down so smooth. This is amazing if you love having a drink after dinner without the hangover. This non alcoholic whiskey from Mad Moose would make an amazing gift!
