Its ok

Its and ok knife. Does the job, but some part just dont seem to stay locked in place and makes it more difficult to use. Could use some adjustments to work better

Good knife but ot for small hands or for crafting!

We do a lot of arts and crafts in this house. Not well, mind you, but we have a lot of fun -- and need some basic tools. When Butterly offered the opportunity to receive the Mastercraft Automatic Retractable Safety Knife, my beleaguered joints begged me to sign up, so that I could slice easily into boxes rather than struggle like I currently do with our smaller knives.

While I loved the color and the feel of this knife in my hands, auto-retractable just didn't work for me and it certainly doesn't work for my higher elementary aged child. It was too much for both of us to hold the larger than usual body while also pressing down on the slider to keep the blade out. This would be a good knife for someone who does a lot of little cuts throughout the day, maybe a mover or someone working in a warehouse, or someone working with material that requires constant little cuts. Or maybe for someone with bigger hands than me. But it doesn't work for someone with my hand size doing arts and crafts at home.

Comes in handy

This product has come in handy so many times when getting packages delivered! It not only cures through the seals with ease, it also helps cut up the boxes to make them smaller to recycle. I love the retractable blade so I don’t need to worry if I leave it laying around, I know it continue anyone in the house!

Very Sharp - Handy for around the house and yard!

I was sent the Mastercraft Automatic Retractable Safety Knife to review from @Butterly. I like how easy this knife was to handle with its simple and lightweight design. The retractable blade adds another safety component which gave me peace of mind around my kids and pets. The blade is so sharp and easily went through the cardboard boxes I was breaking down for the recycling bin. I also like that there is a storage compartment for an additional blade which makes switching blades quick and simple. As a mom, I love making fun projects with my 3 year old.

I am into DIY projects all around the house and was gifted this new Mastercraft Automatic Retractable Safety knife.

IT IS Super easy to use, effective quick and easy cutting! I use it mostly for opening boxes, cutting clean lines (shrink wrap/cardboard/cartons)..
The Spring loaded retractable blade… less injuries! However, You do have to hold to keep the blade open!
It has Easy grip and lightweight. Comfortable to use. Easy to change blade with turn dial:)
There is no risk with the Lifetime exchange warranty! Not pricey!
It’s definitely a great tool for my Mastercraft collection!

I like how sturdy this is, works great and the colour is cool too. I'd definitely recommend it for crafts due to the safety it provides and how efficient it is.
