Its ok

Its and ok knife. Does the job, but some part just dont seem to stay locked in place and makes it more difficult to use. Could use some adjustments to work better

Good knife but ot for small hands or for crafting!

We do a lot of arts and crafts in this house. Not well, mind you, but we have a lot of fun -- and need some basic tools. When Butterly offered the opportunity to receive the Mastercraft Automatic Retractable Safety Knife, my beleaguered joints begged me to sign up, so that I could slice easily into boxes rather than struggle like I currently do with our smaller knives.

While I loved the color and the feel of this knife in my hands, auto-retractable just didn't work for me and it certainly doesn't work for my higher elementary aged child. It was too much for both of us to hold the larger than usual body while also pressing down on the slider to keep the blade out. This would be a good knife for someone who does a lot of little cuts throughout the day, maybe a mover or someone working in a warehouse, or someone working with material that requires constant little cuts. Or maybe for someone with bigger hands than me. But it doesn't work for someone with my hand size doing arts and crafts at home.
