Handy strong and convenient

I have an old set of wrenches that’s my dad’s and we usually use them for our projects but this time I used this as I was going to fix some steel partitions in the garage and these wrench set works great… it’s lighter than the other set and easy to use.
I might give this one as a gift to my dad 🤗

Good Except the Packaginf

Fine set of wrenches. Essential for anyone looking to do some work on the car or around the house. They feel solid, the measurement indicators are clear, and the quality seems good overall. There are definitely more beautiful sets out there, but these are more than good enough to get the job done, and you won’t have to pay top dollar either. Worked well on some general maintenance on the car. It might be a bit nicer if the 8mm was a bit longer for those tighter spaces, but the length here is pretty standard. I like the black finish instead of chrome, though that mainly comes down to preference. I have an old set of wrenches passed down from my grandfather that are very solidly constructed. I never feel like I’m going to slip or even damage the wrench. These feel less solid in comparison, but that’s usually the case with newer tools these days. They don’t make them like they used to. That said, it’s probably more in my head than in reality, since these held up just fine. The only major complaint is the packaging. It’s absolutely awful. Had to look up a YouTube video to figure out how to open it. Even then I gave up and ended up breaking my way in with a screwdriver. I assume they designed it in such an absurd way to deter theft. It has also contributed to making me dislike the engineer who greenlight the design. Get these things out of their packaging and into your toolbox ASAP. If it wasn’t for the packaging, I would rate them 5 stars instead of 4. If you’re a tools guy, this won’t be the last set you ever buy and this certainly is not the best set out there. But if you’re looking for something affordable that will get the job done, then you can have confidence with these, in my opinion.
