The Mastercraft Adjustable Oil Filter Pliers are the perfect "Handy Tool" when doing your own oil changes. My vehicle is quite old and it's difficult for me to loosen the filters, this tool has been a game changer for me. Providing a strong grip with comfortable handles and it's effectiveness to remove the tightened filter makes it much more easier for myself. I was actually surprised that they were that effective in reducing the amount of oil on my hands....I thought it wouldn't make much of a difference.
Overall 5-stars....the value of a lifetime exchange warranty from Canadian Tire is purely priceless.

The perfect tool!

These were just what we needed to complete our oil change. We used them in a 2012 dodge. Removed the filter with ease minus the wintry mix outside. They are adjustable to 3 sizes and made with carbon steel.
The lifetime warranty is a huge plus! I would buy these again. I received these free in exchange for my honest review.

I tested the Mastercraft Adjustable Oil Filter Pliers while doing an oil change on my Chrysler 300C and they genuinely impressed me. Anyone who’s worked on this vehicle knows space around the oil filter is tight and often results in a messy oil change, but that’s where these pliers really shined. The slim profile and adjustable jaws made it much easier to maneuver in the limited space and get a solid grip on the filter without fighting the surrounding components. Beyond oil changes, these pliers are surprisingly versatile. They also work great for loosening stuck pickle jar lids! 🤣 They feel solid in hand, teeth bite well and the handle length provides good control without being bulky.

Nice grip, keeps hands less messy.

The grip was comfortable and the pliers worked well. The adjustability was nice to suit different filter sizes if needed. They loosened off the tight filter well and kept the oil off the hands more than if the pliers were not used at all. Definitely will be using for the many more oil changes needing to be done.

Oil filter pliers - 10”

I received these 10” oil filter pliers free from Butterly & Canadian Tire so I could provide an honest review. As I am not the mechanically inclined person in my household, I gave them to my husband to use and he was so impressed by them. He used them the weekend I received them to remove the oil filter in his vehicle in order to change his oil. He said they worked perfectly and made things so much easier. Sturdy tool strong grip

I received master craft adjustable oil filter pliers as a free gift to try and I really enjoyed using this tool. It has a little weight to it, making it easier to hold and grip. The metal is coated with plastic on the handles so it gives a stronger grip that does not slip and does not become slippery when wet it is very comfortable. The pliers is made of solid steel and looks rust resistant which will last for many years. This pliers is from a very reputable brand and is a great addition to my tool box in my shop. I would recommend to anybody.
