Tried and Tested: mastervac Wet & Dry Vac Review

Really satisfied with my Mastervac, perfect for quick cleanups. I’ve been using it for a few months now and it works great every time. The suction power is strong, and it’s easy to move around and store. Great for both home and garage use — definitely recommend to buy it.

A lightweight vaccume for heavy jobs

This Shop Vac is perfect for parents of young children! It is light weight which makes wlgetting it out in a pinch easy. It can be wheeler or held onto with the handle which I LOVED. It is perfect for cleaning up those spills that are part of parenting young children. I frequently reached for it when cleaning up under my kids sensory table , as I knew it could withstand the chunks of dried playdough which I would be hesitant to use my house vaccume for.

A few things I did notice where if it tips over it sometimes stops working and you need to turn it off and back on again for the suction to resume.
Also when vacuuming up a box of baking soda that had been spilled, the filter wasn't effective & it ended up just blowing out of the machine, perhaps it's just not meant for particles that small.
Cleaning the machine was easy to do, but I was disappointed when o read that it is recommended to replace what is referred to as a reusable filter for best results.
I loved using it to clean out my car as it was large enough to do the job, but small enough to fit inside without feeling cumbersome!
A great vaccume for a family with small kids!

Great product

We have a big vacuum that we use already but we needed something was easy to store that wouldn’t take up much room. This size was perfect and it does the job! No complaints!!

Did the job!

It definitely does a decent job! For dog hair it just takes a bit more effort if it’s on a carpet but it works well on most surfaces! The brush attachment worked the best on my new carpet and got most of the dog hair off! So I’m happy!

The best portable Shop Vac!

I really was amazed with this shop vac. It’s very powerful and works great for getting in small spaces, cleaning cars, behind the fridge etc. It’s also portable and easy to move around which is also a huge bonus!

What can’t it do?

I recently had the chance to try out the Mastervac 18.9L Shop Vac because Butterly and Canadian Tire sent me one free to try. I was skeptical at first but I was pleasantly surprised by how much value this compact vacuum delivers.



Pros:



Lightweight and easy to handle. Small enough to move around the house with ease. The wheels were a nice touch.
Quick setup. Honestly, it’s so straightforward that even a child could set it up and use it. Which they did.
Great for home use. It handles everyday messes effortlessly, making it ideal for families without a lot of space for a full sized.
Powerful blower function. Doubles as a leaf blower, which was an unexpected bonus!
Overall reliability. Simple, effective, and does exactly what it promises. I would 100% recommend it to anyone looking for a versatile, no-fuss shop vac.




Cons:



The only drawback I found is the lack of extra attachments. A crevice tool or additional accessories would make it even more versatile, and unfortunately, they aren’t available to purchase separately.




Overall, this is a solid, reliable shop vac that punches well above its weight for home use. If Mastervac offered a few more attachments, it would be close to perfect.n

Great shop vac managable size

This shop vac has been perfect for me in my new house. I have found other models to be too large and bulky for me to use often, this is absolutely perfect and allows me to easily carry it indoors or out without a struggle. I received this complimentary and will be a return customer as it truly has exceeded my expectations!

Small but mighty vac!

What a handy little vacuum! Small and light, but powerful enough to clean all the debris from my car, including leftover snacks from my toddler. Love that it came with so many attachments that could get into crevices without needing to bend myself into a pretzel
