Great Fun for Kids
The Spin Master Monster Jam 1:15 Smash and Bash Grave Digger RC has been a big hit in our house! It looks just like the real Grave Digger monster truck, and my kids (ages 9 and 11) have had a blast building ramps and creating obstacle courses for it indoors. The crash mode feature is a standout as it adds an extra layer of fun to uncrash it by the push of a button. And don’t get me started on how hilarious it is when the truck tips over and still manages to spin around and keep going just like a real monster truck. The remote control is straightforward and easy to use, and overall, the toy delivers a lot of excitement. It doesn’t perform very well on grass, so we mostly keep it on hard surfaces inside. One small downside is that the steering buttons on the remote control require a bit of force to move, which might be tricky for younger children or kids with smaller hands. It runs on AAA batteries, so be prepared to keep a few extras on hand. All in all, this is a well-designed RC toy that encourages creative play and provides hours of fun for monster truck fans.
Awesome monster truck!
Loved this remote control Smash and Bash Gravedigger monster truck. This is my child’s first remote control vehicle and it has been a hit. You can go forward and in reverse mode and the truck is such a good size, bigger than your average truck. The best part is you can switch it to smash mode and it crumples on impact. That’s always the funnest part. Even as an adult I enjoyed helping my kid play with this truck. We have used it both indoors and outdoors without any problems. I would definitely recommend this remote control vehicle to other parents. It is sturdy and fun to play with!
Love the 'Crunch' Factor
The Monster Jam Bash Grave Digger RC was a definite hit. Admittedly I was skeptical at first because when you touch Grave Digger's side they feel soft and a bit flimsy. The thing I was not thinking about was that the RC was designed like that so that when you run into an obstacle the front of Grave Digger crumples and crunches in...hence the 'Bash' in the name! The kids had so much fun running the RC into things and then 'de-crumpling' the toy. As far as function, the RC works and responds well, but the controls need a bit of getting used to, so it might be better for a slightly older child, in terms of steering. We definitely needed to use the function to adjust for the RC's tendency to steer to the left, but the function is there! Ultimately, Grave Digger RC is super fun and the kids love it. I would recommend it for anyone who has kids who love playing with RC's or Monster Trucks. I received this product for free in order to give my honest opinion.
Smash and Bash Grave Digger RC
Move over boys this girl loves Monster trucks too! This super cool self repairing monster truck is a must have for kids who are new drivers and crash into absolutely everything. With one push of a button on the controller its back to new. Its features are that of an actual Monster Jam Grave Digger truck with its authentic BKT tires and graphics. A solid, affordable way to bring destruction to playtime without wrecking the toy. USB recharge for the truck and batteries are needed for the controller. Its a fun and exciting toy for any monster truck fans, it has value and durability which makes both kids and parents smile!
Smash & Bash !
My family member is 5 years old and he had loads of fun with the RC Gravedigger Monster truck. We built a ramp and hill to add extra fun and it became like the real event. The truck comes with a remote that requires two batteries. It’s very easy to use and simple to get activated. I recommended this for multiple ages as it doesn’t have lots of pieces and the simplicity.
Smash & Bash Is Our (Monster) Jam!
This has been a SMASH hit with our kids! They’ve spent hours making different jumps and obstacles for Grave Digger to take on, always ending with a smash or bash! It’s quite steerable and the effect of its crumpling up and smoothing out again is an extra fun element!
Rip-roaring fun!
Kids who love driving their remote-controlled cars into, well, anything, are going to love this new take on the popular Grave Digger Monster Truck. Not only does it look like the famous truck, it’s also just as tough, as my five-year-old found out.
He repeatedly sped it around our backyard before sending it grill first into fencing, planter boxes, even a shed. Of course this had an impact on the truck; each big bang caused the toy to crunch up — just like it’s designed to do.
It’s also designed to smoothly un-crunch; just push a special button on the remote and the truck is as good as new and ready to be crashed into another object.
(If you’re worried about your walls, note that this toy can be used indoors or outdoors.)
My son really enjoyed how the truck would “break” and then quickly be fixed. And I enjoyed that it changes via USB-C, and comes with a charging cord. This is the same type of port newer iPhones use, so keeping the truck charged up was super-easy.
My only complaint is that the remote uses a triple-A battery; I wish it also charged via USB-C.
But overall this is a fun toy that also makes for an impressive gift. Keep this item in mind for the upcoming holiday season!
Great truck
My daughter got into action with my old leather coat and makeup on her cheeks to look like mud. We put in the batteries and truck was driving in no time. Truck drives great even on grass. It's very fast. We've had no problems with the monster truck. Battery still hasn't died which is impressive. I do recommend this monster truck toy for both girls and boys! Thank you for this complimentary toy. You've helped create a family bonding experience!
Love this
Really love this!!! Crashes and crumples then can fix itself, my child goes crazy over this. Only thing is that the motor at the back does get very warm.
The coolest toy I have ever played with!
My boy and I had way too much fun with this one! I thought this would be just your standard remote controlled car, but it's so much more! Not only is the Grave Digger super durable and sturdy (and let's admit it, super cool to look at!), but when you crash this monster truck, he folds in! It makes for a super realistic experience for kiddos. To begin, all you have to do is put two AAA batteries into your controller and youre ready to experience your monster jam dreams! I took my boy to Monster Jam a few years ago and we got to see the Grave Digger live and up front...now we have him at home too! Great job on this one, Spinmaster! I received this sample for free from Butterly in exchange for my honest review.
