My kids had so much fun with this!

I have four year-old twins, and keeping them sitting in one spot with their attention focused on the same toy feels nearly impossible but somehow they did with the Monster Jam Smash ‘n bash playset. The instructions were incredibly easy to put together, especially for a mom that had two 4-year-olds eagerly, waiting to play and asking 1 million questions! The car was very easy to put together every time it popped apart from the “crash” part of the play. My kids LOVED the springy texture of the trampoline for the car to shoot onto. This would be an almost perfect critique if it wasn’t for the fact that the trampoline is made with a rubber that attracts all hair and dirt. We have a black lab, and his hair gets stuck to literally anything and everything, including the toy, so I had to wash it a couple times. Also, my son is a little more gentle with toys than his sister, and he struggled to really get the momentum to make the car fly high enough to hit the trampoline. Something that I imagine he can do with some practice though. Finally, I think the cherry on top would be two cars so kids can play more collaboratively like on the box - we tried using another monster truck toy and it just didn’t fit the launcher right unfortunately. All that to be said, I’m actually really impressed with this toy and we really appreciate Spin Master giving us the opportunity to play with this! I’d definitely purchase this for a little human into monster trucks!

Did not love it

The concept of the toy is cute and my son loved the monster truck as well as the trampoline part but it was really difficult for it to consistently bounce off the specific parts. I would say the monster truck he loved and enjoyed playing with. But the rest of the obstacle course was a bit of a miss. I feel like this is something he will only play with once but will enjoy playing with the monster truck a lot longer.

Love the actions!

My niece was excited to play with her new toy - Monster Jam 1:64 Smash 'n Bash Playset. 🛻 She showed me there are three ways to play and she loves all the actions! Even my hubby joined in the fun! 😆 We love the toys from @spinmaster as always for their great varieties & great quality. 👍🏻

So much fun for little Monster Jam fans! Kids will love crashing the truck into the SmashBot and rebuilding it again and again. Easy to play with, lots of action, and perfect for imaginative playtime. Such a great gift for kids who love trucks and smashing fun!

It was amazing. My son loved it so much. He kept trying different ways of playing with it. Also we got our turn to try new tricks with it. Kept him entertained for a long time.it was easy to set it up. The quality is really good. My son tried different ways of crushing the boxes with the monster truck. I think it's a great toy for all ages of kids. Monster Truck also has very detailed features and my son kept opening and closing the flaps. Overall great product

Crash it Again

Got the Monster Jam 1:64 Smash ’n Bash Playset and wow… instant smiles, instant chaos (the fun kind 😄). My kids have been obsessed—crashing, smashing, rebuilding, and doing it all over again.

I love how easy it is to set up, but more importantly how it keeps them busy without a screen. The sound effects, the smashing action, and those little monster trucks? Pure excitement every single time. Hearing their giggles while they shout “CRASH IT AGAIN!” is honestly the best part.

If you’re looking for a toy that brings real joy, big reactions, and keeps little hands entertained for a long time—this one’s a win in our books

Hours of fun and open needed

This toy has lots of hour of opened ended play. Although it’s a play set with 2-3 ways to be designed to play, it’s got different ways that it can be played and even then there’s other ways it can be set up for hours of entertainment!

Takes some getting used to, but fun for everyone!

All of the little pieces straight out of the box were a bit intimidating at first, being I was the grown up who was going to assemble it, but the instructions were easy to follow and it wasn't as daunting as I first thought it might be!

One thing I suggest for anyone assembling this is to maybe put the stickers on first. It isn't too hard to do after it's assembled, but it might be easier to line them up when the whole structure isn't built yet.

This toy is one that both my eight year old son AND three year old daughter wanted to play with! (And their thirty-five year old father.) Something we found is that the kids had a bit of trouble hitting the launcher hard enough to get the monster truck to fly up, but after a lot of practice, they started to get the hang of it! It also took quite a few tries to get the monster truck to hit the structure hard enough (the red box) to make it topple over, but again, it just takes practice. You wouldn't want the button to be any more sensitive or it would be falling over with the slightest touch. On the plus side, it all feels pretty durable and like it'll last quite a while!

As I write this review, both of my kids (and the grown up kid I'm married to!) are having a blast with it, yelling and cheering, eagerly waiting for their turn to launch the truck next. It's a fairly simple toy that doesn't take up much from that should keep them amused for a while! Considering my son tends to gets bored of anything that isn't electronic, I'm counting this as a huge win! I'm going to be keeping an eye out for more toys like this and by Spin Master!

Monster Jam Smash and Bash Playset

I want to say thank from the bottom of my children's hearts and my own to Spin Master and Butterly for allowing us the absolute privilege of being able to try this playset out for free!

This playset was really easy to build, my 9 year old and my almost 11 year old worked together and built it completely by themselves. Which I really loved as sometimes sets like these need parental assistance, I would say for those 6 and under it would be required but above that most children should be able to build it independently. The instructions use very easy to see images to help with building and sticker placement.

This monster jam set works flawlessly as described, you do need a lot of force to make the included monster jam truck move with the launcher. But not too much that even a younger child couldn't use it. My kids played for hours with this set and were able to make the monster truck accomplish all of the cool tricks and ideas included with the set, and so many more! The special smash and bash monster truck was really well received with my kids too. They loved being able to "fix it" over and over again. I loved that it goes back together really easily and it adds even more enjoyable element to play time.

Overall I couldn't recommend this toy enough! It's easy to put together, it's easy to use and it will most definitely give your kids hours and hours of fun!

Monster Truck Nation

Spin Master toys never fail to disappoint in their quality as they are built to withstand the wrath of little kids! My 4 year old son couldn’t wait to get the monster truck out of the package and loves the fact that the truck would “break apart” when it would crash and snap back together. My son had some difficulty getting the truck to get some air to land on the tower. All he can talk about is going to see monster trucks in real life!
