For hundreds of years, women in Morocco have been using Moroccanoil Treatment's special miraculous oil ingredient to treat their hair and nails due to the effects of the hot climate. Moroccanoil has used this special oil ingredient as a part of their formula to help for instant absorption into hair for a beautiful shine and long term conditioning!

I love this stuff, smells so good, light weight and leaves hair shiney and you don't need a lot. I use it every day!
I really dislike this product and this company. Their products are beyond thievery price-wise. From what I remember when I purchased it, it is far from 100% pure argan oil - which is what Moroccan oil actually is. To test it, I went out and got a bottle and compared it to my 100% pure argan oil that I buy from my supplier. Had it worked and been worth the price, I would have kept it for sure. It doesn't even stand up against the real stuff, which will help your hair grow longer, thicker and stronger. Unfortunately, I couldn't find the list of the actual ingredients on the company's website - why would they omit that info anyways? so I can't share them here at the moment.
Insanely over-priced & massively over-hyped - like so many products out there are - this just ain't worth the dosh. I took the bottle back and went back to my REAL argan oil and Ojon products, which are all light-years ahead of this kid's stuff.
I have thin, wavy, frizzy (pouffy) hair which is fried from daily heat styling. And I really dislike this product for my hair type. No matter how I attempted to use this (less product, more product, on soaking wet hair, on damp hair, on dry ends!), it just didn't keep my hair frizz free and weighed my hair down, making it feel extremely oily & heavy. As well, the oil did not act as a treatment for dry hair -my hair was still fried even after months of using this (I tried to use it up because of the cost!).
I also believe that the silicones in this product broke me out on the back of my neck (that is because I am hyper-sensitive to all products with silicones in general....so, my point is, heads up to all who have similar issues with silicones).
I may be in the minority here, but this is not the miracle treatment/styler that I hoped it would be.
On a positive note, there is a great amount of product in a bottle, which will last a long time.
I got this as a gift from my sister. Honestly, before she gave it to me, I had no idea what this brand was about. So I looked it up and apparently it's really good for the hair. So I tried it out for a few weeks. It has a really nice smell and is quite thick. Because it is so thick, I would take a little bit at a time and then apply it to my hair.
Overtime it does seem to have restored my hair. Before using the treatment my hair was always too wavy and somewhat dry. But now, it has more a curl to it and it's not dry. The only thing that I don't like about the product is that it doesn't help too much with the frizzyness problem I have with my hair.
I would recommend this to anyone who might have damaged their hair because of hot irons, but keep in mind it won't help with frizz.
I just recently dyed my hair and got redish highlights. I did not know how dry highlights can make your hair. I could not help but regret dying my hair and wanting my old hair back. Every time I would wash my hair I would be terrified of blow drying or straightening my hair, since every time i added heat to my hair it dried it out even more and left many fly aways. I just bought this serum a couple weeks ago at my hair salon, and let me tell you it does really work wonders. It took away those annoying fly aways and it also made my hair ten times softer than how it originally was, it also added more moisture to my hair. I would really recommend this product to anyone who wants to improve the texture of their hair; however, the drawback would be the price, even I thought twice about purchasing it. However, now i can strongly say that it is definitely worth it and I will definitely buy it again.
I purchased the Moroccanoil Limited Edition 4.23 oz with pump with hopes that it would tame my dry, thick hair. I have a natural curl/wave to my hair and I straighten it often with a flat iron. The consistency of the product is what I would expect for an oil. I applied the oil as directed after washing my hair. I loved the earthy, natural smell and it did linger slightly after drying and styling my hair. I did find that the product helped control the frizz and it did add shine to my past the shoulders length hair. It also cut my drying time by at least half. It is still early to tell if it will help prevent split ends and breakage. The drawback is the price. I am not totally convinced that this product is the miracle cure for unmanageable hair but so far I am satisfied with the results.
I bought this product on the recommendation of a lot of friends and family. The claims I heard were that it softens the hair, it stimulates the scalp, and it adds shine. I found that it delivers on all these fronts. I like to use it as a leave-in conditioner when i'm going curly or I work it through my hair and scalp as it's drying. It does soften the hair and give it a healthy shine. It has this wonderful, indescribable signature smell that I love. BUT, of course, the big con of this product is the price. For the job it does, it's not worth 35 bucks! As I said, I'm obsessed with the lovely smell, but I've used other products that get the job done for a lot less. The verdict: I've had better.
I bought this product over the internet some weaks ago. I have fine curly hair and this product is absolutelly amazing. Everyday when I brush my hair it appears very frizzy and the curls are not nice, but I just add a few drops of this oil on the ends, with the hair dry or wet and the curl just revive and the hair gets shine and soft without being grease. The smell is very good as well. It is worth to buy.
I like this product. I use it on my towel dried hair. I'm not so crazy about the smell, it gives off a, well, oily smell.
I don't notice any extra shine, but it does speed up blowdrying my thick hair. And, dare I say, I think it dried out my hair a little, which is a double-edged sword because, while it dries your hair, that means it doesn't make it greasy! That's probably going to make me unpopular because there are such great reviews for this product.
It's VERY pricey, but I think I'll continue to use it with other hair products.
