I live in cottage country and a good bug spray costs a fortune and are hard to find. I bought this stuff in a pinch last summer as our normal brand was sold out and this is a lot cheaper. I now buy this from The Bargain Shop for only $3.99, much better price then OFF.
I only need to apply this once and the mosquito's fear me, seriously I am not bothered at all and normally the bugs swarm me. It does have a powerful scent, containing 25% deet. I like that it not only wards off mosquito's but also, ticks, deer flies, midges and chiggers and black flies, the entire bug list from my yard basically.

Its neat in that it also contains a compass, which is glued onto the lid, how useful is that!
I highly recommend mosquito shield, it works better than anything else I have tried, and its more cost effective, plus you get a bigger aerosol can which will last you longer.
