Do not trust with stairs

We have had 3 of these gates, all 3 have broken after only a few months of use. Munchkin will replace them if still under warranty (under 1 year) but for an $80 gate I expect It to last longer. They always break where the gate should latch, making it possible to simply push the gate open, it is prevented from securely closing entirely. If you had this in a stairway it would be very dangerous!
