Thick in consistency, but not bad overall.

Among my surplus of freebie face masks was this beast. This brightening mask comes with a gel ampoule with niacinamide and witch hazel for brightening that you apply first, and an essence containing adenosine to combat fine lines and wrinkles after the fact. The sheet mask itself contains vitamin B3, hyaluronia acid, lemon and rose extract to nourish, moisturize, and to help with the brightening. The ampoule was fine and didn't feel like too much on the skin. I do have to say, there is a LOT of product in the sheet mask, and the consistency is a little goopy/slimy; it was a bit of a turn off for me texture-wise, but that's beside the point. Finally, the essence was sort of a jelly consistency, and it took a bit to absorb into my skin because the essence from the mask still sat on my skin for a while after removing the mask. Overall, I guess my skin looked a little brighter, but as far as sheet masks go, this was probably my least favourite in terms of consistency, but I can't say it was ineffective. Not cruelty-free, either, though.
