Nova smart Wi-Fi light bulb

I have the opportunity to try the Noma smart Wi-Fi light bulb and I was very surprised. I received two white light bulbs that were able to be linked to my smartphone and can be set up to your preferences fairly easily. The setup was fairly simple as you just inserted the light bulb into the socket and followed the directions on the app. I love the fact that you were able to set up a timer or set up a certain brightness for a certain time and all sorts of different options available. Another great feature is that it could be set up to your Google assistant or Alexa so you can actually request whatever you need directly to your phone by using your voice which is very handy. I thought the product was very innovative and quite easy to set up. If there was one thing I had to change about it I would have liked the light bulb to be able to change different colors but other than that it is a very innovative and useful product.

The NOMA iQ app is very convenient and user-friendly. You can control to customize and schedule the lights according to your preferences, allowing easy automation, setting scheduled routines, or voice control from anywhere at any time. What's more is the option to share control with family and friends enhances overall convenience.

NOMA Control

All these NOMA iQ products run off its own app. The NOMA iQ app is the kep connecter to the smart wifi light bulbs and wall plugs. Within the setup, the app incorporates smart prompts for guided learning to help you make your smart home as seamless as possible.

The key feature is linking up voice activation with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa. This, in my perspective, is the main factor to success.

Make sure you turn on and pair the devices on Bluetooth for everything to work properly on the app!

Great app to use with Noma Smart Wifi products

The Noma iQ app was pretty easy to use with the Noma iQ Smart Wifi outlet plugs and Smart Wifi LED Bulbs that I received from Butterly and Canadian Tire. My daughter loved being able to change the colour of her light in her room by using the app. I also put a Smart Wifi LED bulb in the front door and was able to change the colour of the light using the app to match the xmas lights outside. I set up my Xmas tree using the Smart Wifi outlet plug and was able to set up a schedule for the tree to turn on and off. A really handy app to use with the Noma Smart Wifi products.

Pretty cool!

The app was easy to find and download. The account setup was quick and easy. I did have a bit of difficulties with the app on my device finding the network, but I just relocated to a light near my network and it setup after that. The light bulb was easy to find on the app. Controlling the light: on/off and brightness works well, but sometimes there is a bit of a lag in time. Otherwise, it does what its supposed to!

Importantly, it is great that the app has security protection, DataGuard, for cybersecurity.

A little tricky to pair items but otherwise good

We had a little difficulty with the pairing function for our Noma IQ lights but otherwise found this app ok. Having our Google Home app already though we probably would just use it rather than having a separate app for just some of our devices after initially installing them. That doesn't mean there was anything wrong with this app by any means, I just think less is more!

Simple App that works

The app was easy to set up. Adding a bulb is simple. Yes there are a few steps but it is straightforward. I can create rooms and add different smart technology into those rooms and also name them. I've played around with the experiences. It's nothing new. Setting up timers pretty much. Overall, simple easy to use app. I wish there was more to it, more customization and more options.
