I tried the Nummy Creations Herbal Coffee Alternative in Caramel, and I love that I cannot even taste any herbal flavours. All I can taste is just smooth, roasted coffee-like goodness. The caramel notes come through perfectly, even without adding sugar. This is now my go-to when I am craving coffee and just got off from backshift but still need to get some sleep. It is a great way to enjoy the coffee experience without the caffeine jitters! ☕️

Weak coffee flavor

I'm sensitive to caffine and I have to limit my caffine intake each day. So I love the idea of this caffeine free coffee alternative. Unlike decaf coffee, it actually doesn't contain any coffee so I can drink all I want.

Unfortunately, it doesn't have enough coffee flavor to satisfy my craving. But I like the nice taste of caramel. It makes it very aromatic.

I use more powder than recommended on the package for a stronger flavor to make a drink with or without milk.

How do you like your coffee?

I was given the Caramel Nummy Creations Herbal Coffee Alternative in exchange for my honest review. I loved how easy this is to make, just like hot chocolate and later discovered that the options are endless, like adding to smoothies or cooking with it! Amazing! Our first taste test we used one heaping scoop and found it tasted more like tea, which could be because we used hot water. I definitely would use hot milk more as a latte alternative smoothness in the future. I love that it harnesses the use of dandelion root and shows its versatility! We will be using this again because it wasn’t that bad!

Coffee Alternative

One of the things that stood out to me was the aromatic scent of the powder - it really reminds me of the same joy I feel when I smell coffee beans. Nummy Creations is something I will try to fit in my weekly routine to cut down on my caffeine intake.

I might need to try different preparations to find the right fit for me. The drink has a flat aftertaste that I need to overcome. So far I would still choose a decaf coffee over this, but I will keep experimenting! Maybe an iced version would be the right fit!

Tastes great!

This was different than I expected it to taste. Im usually all for getting as much caffeine as I can in a day to keep up with daily activities, but near bed time its still nice to have something different to drink close to bed without the crash of coffee. I also am really enjoying drinking this as part of my morning protein shakes. Its been a pleasant new part of my routine!
