NOTE: Clad cookware preheats at a different rate than other types of cookware which in turn can cause food to stick more. Before adding any oil, we recommend preheating the pan over medium heat. It is also necessary to add enough oil to coat the bottom of the pan so that it can act as a barrier between the pan and the food. Adding food to cold oil may also lead to sticking since the temperature of the pan will drop too quickly from the addition of the cold oil and cold food. For this reason, advocates should let the oil heat up until it starts to swirl around the pan loosely.

High quality Cookware
This set is great for all the sizes needed for everyday cooking needs. They are heavy duty but that’s expected. The copper core helps distribute the heat evenly and quickly. They boil water quicker. A temp change is virtually instantaneous which I love. I haven't had any issues with anything sticking. The trick of heating pans using medium heat first is an important technique. The metal handles do not retain heat as some other brands do. The clean up is even easier. Let the pan completely cool of. Soak a little when needed. Then wash with warm water, everything slides right out.
Looking forward to many meals cooked in these high quality pots and pans! Though the price may be on the higher side, I can tell that this set will be handed to down to the next generation. Great investment!

I have found the set of 5-ply copper core cookware I will have for life! Pretty sure these pots and pans will outlive me, they are beautiful, indestructible and there is nothing like cooking with them!
This cookware set heats evenly, quickly and spectacularly hot. This is due to its unique
5-ply copper core construction. So you don't need to crank up the heat too high to cook anymore. The handles stay cold during cooking, and also allows great grip. The Copper Core made a much bigger difference in taste because everything cooked evenly. I like that PADERNO offers an exceptional level of durability and performance guaranteed to last a lifetime.
