Pretty and Practical Dinnerware Set!

I received the Paderno Elmwood 16-piece Bone China Dinnerware Set from Butterly for my honest review. At first glance, this set of dinnerware was so so so pleasant to look at. The clean look of the plates and bowls make it so easy to use them all year round, whatever the occasion. They're oven proof up to 350 degrees, meaning you can have hot dinners on hot plates!

We served our Christmas dinner on these. I love the fact that they match with whatever table setting you have, or lack thereof. The weight of the dinnerware seemed fine, and it didn't seem so fragile that I had to be careful. That is an absolute plus, for a mother of two small children. The only thing I didn't like about this set? The bowls are very hot to the touch when you place hot soup inside them. So be cautious when handling hot liquids!

Final verdict? I would highly recommend them to those who are looking for effortless dinnerware for a reasonable price. This is a great starter set for any family under 4 members and might even make an amazing housewarming gift.

Minimalist, practical, but heavier than expected

I’ve used this dinnerware set a couple of times and I do like it overall. The design is super clean and timeless, and the subtle embossed rim adds a nice touch so it doesn’t feel like a plain white plate. It works well for everyday meals and especially when hosting, because it feels a little more elevated without being too formal.
Functionality-wise, it’s very practical. I like that it’s microwave-safe, dishwasher-safe, and oven-safe, which makes it easy to use for real life without worrying too much about handling. It also feels durable and well-made.
The reason I’m giving this 4 out of 5 stars is because the pieces are heavier than I expected, especially the dinner bowl. The dinner bowl was also larger than anticipated, and I had a bit of an awkward time figuring out placement and stacking at first. Once you get used to it, it’s fine, but it’s something to be aware of if you prefer lighter dinnerware.

Overall, it’s a solid, good-quality set with a minimalist look and practical features. I’d recommend it, especially if you like sturdy dinnerware and a clean aesthetic.
